Is it true that there was a rumor/talk about putting out "Runaway" as a single from TBDT? I remember hearing about that rumor, but I don't have much to say on it as the fact that it was a rumor is the extent to what I know. On that note though, did Avril do a fan poll (similar to Smile vs. Push) to determine one of the singles for The Best Damn Thing? I could've sworn there was one with I Can Do Better being an option. Don’t remember any polls. But I guess Runaway would have made a better music video at the time. It had more of a story. |

Since Avril is gonna release another punk rock/pop punk album. I listen this again. Contagious, I Will Be, Runaway and Innocence are still my fav songs. I want to love Everything Back But You tho but it's kinda lame that she was too lazy to rerecord the entire song for the vocal, it sounds weird to have two different voices in the same track unless backing vocal. Yeah, I feel like that is one of the worst thing she can do besides not having performance for the entire album. The entire instrumental production is awesome on the album except those obvious copy cat songs by a raper Dr. Luke: IDHTT, Girlfriend. The poor lyrics also ruin a little too. I mean it can be good enough but clearly not

Same, I'm looking forward to some upbeat stuff! I like her slower mellow songs a lot but I also wanna have a good time and blasting songs from her while I'm happy.

Upbeat is really needed right now. I have music on all the time at home. I don't have TV or cable, and I don't really watch movies unless they're concerts on Youtube mostly. So internet and music is it for me, lol. And my writing and own music.  |

I can usually see why her bsides etc were left off albums, but I’ve never understood Alone. It would’ve fit perfectly. The only thing I can think is it sounds kinda similar to Runaway, but I don’t think that really matters. |
