I always felt the same, it doesn’t make sense with the rest of the lyrics, but maybe she means that that also includes their relationship. Like, she gives her heart and soul into everything, including their relationship.
By the way, those lyrics? “We were made for each other, out here forever” Oh my god CHEESE. I can’t believe she actually once said something like “It’s not cheesy because I wrote it. If I was a professional writer coming up with all that? That would be lame.” Like... what? Girl, you ARE a professional writer and it IS lame. It’s not somehow not lame or cheesy because it’s *you* writing it, lmao

After listening to the album again, I've been thinking about the single choices this era. "Runaway" and "Innocence" both charted on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart (equivalent peaks to #111 and #116 respectively) without being promotional singles or anything, showing that there was some traction for the songs already. I love all of the singles released, but I wonder how different things would be if RCA would've went with the two aforementioned songs?

I always felt Runaway should have been a single instead of Hot. And while I prefer Innocence over WYG, I think WYG is the more radio friendly choice. TBDT should have never been a single though.
