PVRIS

I'll begin to (hopefully) get the conversation started.

I got one of PVRIS's songs called "Ghosts" recommended on Spotify, some time around mid-December 2015. I instantly loved this song, so I checked out the album, "White Noise". But I wasn't very thrilled, so I soon forgot about PVRIS again, except for that one song that I loved so much. Two months or so later, however, I somehow came across PVRIS again and I gave "White Noise" a second listen. And that time I loved the album. I ended up buying it shortly afterward and from then on, I got more and more interested in PVRIS, finally to the point that I would call myself a fan.

At the moment, my favourite songs are "St. Patrick", "Let Them In", "Half", "Same Soul", and "Separate". My favourite music videos are "White Noise" and "Heaven".

As a fan, I've listened to their new album "All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell" (short: AWKOHAWNOH) the moment it was released. My first thought was that it was good, but not as good as their previous album "White Noise". I was missing a bit diversity and some more rock-ish songs. But that opinion changed quickly. The more I listen to the new album the more I like it. I like that it is much more serious than their previous album. The lyrics are fantastic, Lynn's voice is wonderfully powerful, and due to the album having been recorded in an old and allegedly haunted church, there's a really special sound to it.

Yes, I think it makes her look more grown up somehow, which fits the new album, as it's more mature and serious than "White Noise".

I like both looks and vibes.

It took me some time to get used to it as well. I also had to listen to the new album twice to really appreciate and learn to love it. So maybe you'll get used to it too. Just give it one or two tries and some time.

Well, that's a matter of opinion, of course

I personally think it's about as good as "White Noise"; it changes with my mood. It's definitely more mature and darker, but at the same time it has some kind of light sound. However, "White Noise" is better when you want to listen to more aggressive music with heavier drums and more of this "rocking out and having fun" kind of vibe.
