![]() ![]()   Jimmy Eat World are an American rock band from Mesa, Arizona that formed in the year 1993. Members consists of Jim Adkins (Lead Guitarist/Vocalist), Tom Linton (Rhythm Guitarist), Rick Burch (Bassist), and Zach Lind (Drummer). They're known to be one of the most iconic emo/pop punk bands from the early 2000s scene. They gained popularity with songs such as "The Middle" and "Pain". But later in their music career they went more Alternative with their roots. The band has released a total of nine studio albums: - Jimmy Eat World (1994)

- Integrity Blues (2016)
One of the top tracks by Jimmy Eat World are "The Middle", "Sweetness", "Hear You Me", and "Pain".

I only know the album "Bleed American" and also (finally) bought it at the end of last year. I still like to listen to it; my favourite songs are "Bleed American", "The Authority Song", and especially "Get It Faster" (that guitar riff in the middle of the song is fantastic!). But the other songs off of that record are amazing, too.  I've been wanting to check out some of their other music for quite a while now, but never gotten around to actually doing that. Maybe you could recommend some songs to me? |

That song was written about some fans who died in a car crash on the way to see them. So sad!

I only know the album "Bleed American" and also (finally) bought it at the end of last year. Maybe you could recommend some songs to me? Awesome! Yeah "Bleed American" is definitely a great record. My most favorites are "A Praise Chorus" and "My Sundown". Sure! You should check out the songs "Appreciation", "Damage", "Sure and Certain", and "The End is Beautiful". Those are really good. The first two are from the album "Damage", while the other two are from their most recent one "Integrity Blues". |

I saw them live a couple months ago They were really good! Awesome! I bet they were. They were here in Italy with Kings of Leon recently, but I couldn't attend it since I'm broke. But other than that, I'm glad you had fun.  |

3 of the 4 songs of Jimmy Eat World in the first post were covered by Paramore. I also like all the Album Bleed American. My sundown has a female voice iirc. Don't know the name of the other singer. Today i was remembering in my head the chorus of getting faster. XD Another song recommendation, from the album futures: 23. I love that song a lot. 7:13 of good vibes for me.  From the album Invented maybe: Heart is Hard to Find, and Action Needs an Audience. From the album Chase this Light i like: Electable (Give it up). |

It's definitely sad when something like this happens to their fans. But I do think it's one of their best songs in my opinion.
