Haha she is so weird in that performance but it’s also kind of funny. That set is honestly one of her best vocal performances of that era I think.

^Agreed. I was listening to the My World and Try to Shut Me Up EPs Avril released, and in some of the songs it's like she is singing with a faux-deep voice. I'm not sure if it was to make her seem more "punk rock" or what, but she sounds so much better in performances like the one above.

Yes this acoustic set was pretty early on in her promo schedule and this is what her voice really sounds like, not that faux-deep voice she kept doing later on. Idk if that was her trying to sound more “rock” or if it was vocal fatigue or a combination of both maybe. |
