Wow, radio interviews and performances without her wearing sunglasses!  I love these old performances, it's so real and I just loved her voice back then. It's kind of "flawed" and with acoustic peformances it works so well |

Not sure if this one has been posted before but I really enjoyed seeing how they made the "I'm With You" music video, by having everyone move/sing at double speed. I'm sure the driving one has been posted before but it's interesting hearing Avril talk about her first bad paparazzi encounter, if you haven't seen it yet. They are a nice nostalgia trip back to 2002 either way.

I was reading through some old reviews to see what people thought of "Goodbye Lullaby" back when it was released. Found this review, that made me laugh because of how brutal it was lol. And here I was thinking "What the Hell" was the highlight of my karaoke party last weekend. Notice how they barely touched on non singles though? They failed to mention any of her self writtens apart from 4 Real which is objectively the weakest of the bunch.
GL is an underwhelming album but I don’t think it’s terrible. The screechy vocals definitely ruined some songs but I think it’s main weakness is the lyrics. A 25-year-old with professional experience should have been able to write better lyrics than “Everybody hurts some days, it’s ok to be afraid, everybody hurts, everybody screams, everybody feels this way and it’s ok, la da da da it’s ok” or “Goodbye goodbye I have to go I have to go and leave you alone but always know always know that I love you so.” That being said, there’s some strong songs like Darlin, Not Enough, and Remember When.

I agree with what you said in another thread about the last half being a bit of a snooze fest. I must admit though I often listen to the albums on vinyl and "Goodbye Lullaby" still gets fairly equal playtime with the rest, depending on my mood. The only album that never leaves its sleeve, is the self titled one, it kinda makes me sad that Avril has an entire album that I don't like listening to at all (I've tried).😢
