I'll never understand what drives someone to want to run onto a stage, that's a next level fan. I heard this incident (I think it was this one) was a prank by some radio station or something. If that’s true, they suck. And that asshole laughing like a hyena about it is a bitch too. FYI no real “fan” does this. |

Hmm I mean Avril seemed to take it in stride and laughed it off but I don't think it's funny to scare her, especially if someone really did it as a prank.

Yeah her fans in SA have a reputation for being rowdy so I always wondered if that was the reason behind the socially distant meet and greet photos. But she was also sick at that time so it could have been one or the other or both. We’ll never know. |

The level of someone's fame doesn't really have anything to do with how many crazy stalkers they might have. Yeah the more famous someone is, the more susceptible they'll be to it (like Taylor Swift, who has multiple stalkers and people breaking into her houses), but don't forget even a relatively unknown act like Christina Grimmie was shot to death by a crazed stalker.
We can only hope she's got a good security team, which it seems like she does. And hopefully no one will bother her.

Pretty sure she still had her brother with her for HAW promo and tour. I've seen him with his gun holstered next to her in a few videos from the GL Era. Just some instances like the one above where they must of taken a risk and went out alone hoping to stay low key.
