I wonder if this is what led to Avril performing a stripped down version of LG. Was this before work after the Winter Olympics? I think that's when she first performed the stripped version of LG.

The House of Blues performance was in 2005 I think, the Winter Olympics was 2006.

Yes, it was! Avril performed with Alanis in 2005. The Winter Olympics unplugged performance was in 2006. I still have a hope to watch the video of this performance, after knowing that this entire concert was aired at A&E!!! And of course, i can't forget to mention the snippet of their duet which was included on Alanis' documentary "Diamond Wink: Honouring 10 Year Anniversary Of Jagged Little Pill".

"I don't talk about my personal life, I like to keep my relationships private" LMAO
That definitely makes me think the whole Chavril thing was probably a lot more Chad's doing/influence than hers because she's never talked about her private life that much before him (except maybe a bit about Deryck) and definitely hasn't talked about it since Chad.

I would have done anything to be at this; MuchMusic was my favourite TV station back in the early 2000s.

Notice how they barely touched on non singles though? They failed to mention any of her self writtens apart from 4 Real which is objectively the weakest of the bunch. GL is an underwhelming album but I don’t think it’s terrible. The screechy vocals definitely ruined some songs but I think it’s main weakness is the lyrics. A 25-year-old with professional experience should have been able to write better lyrics than “Everybody hurts some days, it’s ok to be afraid, everybody hurts, everybody screams, everybody feels this way and it’s ok, la da da da it’s ok” or “Goodbye goodbye I have to go I have to go and leave you alone but always know always know that I love you so.” That being said, there’s some strong songs like Darlin, Not Enough, and Remember When. That's it.
