Probably been posted a million times but I can never get enough of these old AOL sessions with Evan, the songs were new and the passion for them showed. Avril playing & singing with her best look, best voice and her best guitarist next to her - my favourite era and songs. 🤩🤩🤩 Her "Birdie" performance during the lyme concert reminded me of these clips, she kind of gets that sad look on her face while looking down.

I only just found these concerts, man she went hard on the instruments during UMS, nearly every song. 👍
Pretty cool venue for the first one, I think its the same place she sung complicated in 2002.

I think I’ve seen that footage before, it might have been on the My World DVD maybe? Or maybe I’m remembering it from this exact video.
I also don’t think that dude was one of her band mates, it might have been some guy from a band who was touring with them at the time maybe, like Simple Plan? Either way, super gross. Shows you how much the times have changed. In 2002, this was considered “funny.” Some grown ass looking naked dude forcing himself on a barely 18 year old girl is absolutely sick, even if he was doing it to be “funny.”

Honestly hated how awful her hair looked there. It looked like it hadn’t been washed or brushed for days which is just gross. Being a tomboy or “not caring” does not equal not brushing/washing your hair!
