Do you feel excited about AL6?

I wish there was an option for somewhere in between. At the moment, I’ve kind of lost all my excitement because we’ve been waiting for so long and she’s done nothing to get us hyped. Just a bunch of mic pics over and over and over that all look exactly the same. So many “soons.” It’s just so much of nothing over and over to the point it’s gotten boring and annoying. And every time she thinks she’s close to finishing, more delays happen. I’m just over it, honestly.

On the other hand, I’m still excited for the album itself. The moment news comes out about a single and we get to hear it, I’m sure we’ll all be excited. I just hope this eternal wait ends up being worth it. This better be her best album ever. I hope the single is amazing and not mediocre.

So I guess I’m excited for the album still, but damn tired of the waiting and the way they’ve chosen to communicate with fans. I know Avril has tried her best to give us updates but I also wish her team would say something a little more concrete and everyone would stop with the soons and incessant studio pics.

Ended up voting for yes because overall of course I still want to hear the album.

Even if we're still in the s**n phase, and not much has been added... I'm still very excited and can't wait for the entire era to start

I won’t vote cause I can’t be so sure. Of course I want the album, I can’t wait to listen to what she’s preparing for soooooooooo long. But lately I’m more annoyed/impatient than excited. It’s a bit different feeling I’m annoyed/impatient cause I really wanna listen to it, but isn’t the same feeling as if we had a date and then I’d be happily excited waiting for it

That's how I would describe it. But other than that, I voted for Yes since I still want to hear her newer content.

it's a yes! Last year I wasn't that excited and wasn't sure if AL6 was gonna happen but now after finding the right producers and going into the mixing progress I feel we're closer each day. I want to listen to what she has to say through her songs and how was the production and everything related to it.

I was excited one or two weeks ago when Avril was at this radio station. But now I'm not anymore. I'm actually a bit disappointed and even a little pissed off. All these "soon"s... All this "you will love it" and "it will have been worth the wait"... I'd like to decide that for myself, but even over a year later I still can't because she still hasn't released even a tiny snippet. Instead she draws the media's attention by being seen with Ryan, then with JR, now with that other guy. I thought she was a musician, she should mainly be talked about because of her music, not because of her relationships. And, of course, she posts studio pictures. Still. No idea if they're new pictures and AL6 is STILL not finished or if they're old pictures and she's trolling us (which would be rude at this point, and that's exactly the thought that makes me feel pissed off). Probably both.

So, no, I am not excited anymore. I only hope that the album will really have been worth the wait, because if not... Well, I can't just stop being a fan after more than 10 years, and I guess it would also be kinda stupid to stop being a fan just because of not liking one of her albums. But I'd certainly be every disappointed. I'm just glad Avril's not the only artist I follow anymore...
