I think AL62019 is a good sign, which means her team knows they have to skirt out of "The Star Is Born". Cmon, HAW is a high quality song, album will be great A good sign? Watch her releasing in February/March with the Superbowl hype and new releases. 2019 is the worst year to release anything. Adele, Taylor, Rihanna, Gaga, Beyonce, Lana Del Rey and Britney are coming for sure. At the end of the year no one will remember the album that Avril released at the start of the year. She hasn't learnt anything from her last album. Lead single 38903 months before the album, exactly like now. She's gonna sell 500k maximum, it doesn't matter if she releases this year or not. At least she can end this fuckin torture now and release the God damn album FOR HER FANS. We are the ones that have borne years of lies. First 2017, in 2018 when everything seemed to be correct with the lead single in the market, it's pushed to 2019. What's next, 2020? And the worst part is that they don't say a shit about the album, we know that the album comes in 2019 because of a mediocre article in Billboard. At least say the damn release date, even if it's March 2019. I'm completely disappointed with this woman. I love HAW, I understand her condition, but I'm tired of waiting for the fucking album through lies and secrets. |

That movie is apparently a huge thing at the moment. And it’s Lady Gaga. Avril can’t “compete” with her right now. If she released the album today, it would be overshadowed by that soundtrack. Some months ago it would have been perfect. The pop scene has been kind of dead for a while now. |

If you’re going to be mad at anyone, be mad at her team/label. Avril didn’t decide when the album would be out.
No matter when they choose to release something, they’ll be in competition with someone else. It really doesn’t matter. The important thing is to just release the album for the sake of Avril telling her story and for the fans. Commercial success is really just a bonus. I couldn’t care less when anyone else is releasing stuff, I just want the album.

I don't get the delay, why?
Maybe
1. They are recording again
2. They want to promote the lead single to become a hit and then release the album. Impacting more radios and live performances.
3. HAW is not the lead single of the album, and Dumb Blonde is coming. I remember last year she talked about dual single. HAW as the ballad and Dumb Blonde as the upbeat I guess
