I don't get the delay, why? Maybe 1. They are recording again 2. They want to promote the lead single to become a hit and then release the album. Impacting more radios and live performances. 3. HAW is not the lead single of the album, and Dumb Blonde is coming. I remember last year she talked about dual single. HAW as the ballad and Dumb Blonde as the upbeat I guess Two separate singles with 2 months gap inbetween as dual and lead singles? It would be ridicoulous. HAW is the lead single. It's the title track, of course it's the lead single of the album. |

Yeah dual would have happened already. If there’s another single either will be a second single already or a promo single (unless they decide to fake that since the beginning HAW was meant to be a buzz single, but till now was always said as first single of the forthcoming record)

wasn't gilfriend released in february, album in april and the second single (wyg) in june? things can be different sometimes and she is not following a pattern to release music. I mean her label. maybe we're having a 2nd single before the album and the whole cake after it.

It was already confirmed there will be 2 more songs before the album. I can’t remember by who but I know it was confirmed.
Artists do this all the time now, releasing multiple songs before the album. I don’t think they will be official singles but probably more like promo singles.

Maybe Avril will do it like Carrie Underwood who released Cry Pretty in April another single in August. A promo single a week before the album dropped in Semptember with a tour in May.
Carrie has been pretty successful with this schedule so hopefully Avril will too. Even if it kills me inside that we won't get the album until sometime in 2019.
