I complained this morning about the situation with the silence but you guys are so annoying. If she doesn't release anything you complain, if she releases at least a performance of an old song you complain too.
You should be on your knees thanking this woman to give you new music after everything she has suffered.
And I repeat, the only thing I dislike about this woman is the silence, the lack of information about the album when part of it is leaked and the mess of a strategy they are doing for this era. But you guys LOVE complaining about everything she does. If she sings nasal, if she sings Girlfriend, if she doesn't look at the camera, if she looks bored or even if she dates her billionaire boyfriend.
I want the album so bad, but you deserve the album to be cancelled and not releasing music never again.

Maybe I got used to discrepancies with listening to so many artists who can't sing shit in a live show. |

Sorry, I know having an illness is terrible, Lyme is no joke, but you're making a martyr out of her. In my neck of woods there's plenty of poorly educated farmers and industrial workers who busted their asses in physically demanding jobs while having no idea that they weren't just getting "old folk diseases", but were actually experiencing lyme symptoms. |

Damn.
She looks so bored, and I can't blame her.
But why Girlfriend, why? I don't care if it's been her most commercially successful single, it bugs me that they try to create that type of nostalgia referring to that song.
I'm not saying she has to completely pretend she didn't have it (oh well, I would not care if that happened to be honest), she can still perform it in concerts or whatsoever, but for once can they (make her) have a consistent line for the whole era?
Like, HAW was about a serious matter, you are marketing her to a more adult audience, if you want to make the nostalgia effect at least (make her) perform Nobody's Home or I'm With You, not Girlfriend.
I'm ready for another AL5 all-over-the-place album mess tbh. Hope I'm wrong but it's always good to lower the expectations with her.

I’m sorry, I know she was sick and all, but for such an upbeat song she hardly moved at all. It was just a very static and boring performance. She relied a lot on the backup singers to sing the chorus and skimped out on some of the high notes at the end (like the HEEYYY NO WAAAYYYY) She did a few high notes so it’s not like she can’t because of the illness or anything. I don’t know, I got lazy vibes from this. She was sick, but I don’t think that prevents her from jumping or dancing a bit (she was skateboarding in her house before and riding bikes).
I don’t mind her nasal voice if it’s just due to allergies or anything else she can’t control, but damn in the beginning it really did sound rough.
Look, at this point I honestly cannot blame fans for being pissed or not impressed with having the millionth performance of Girlfriend when we are awaiting a new album full of brand new material from her. We were told she performed new songs. We waited like a month just to have a meh performance of an old hit. Yes she was ill. Yes fans do tend to pick on her over anything and everything. But we also don’t have to act like we should be grateful for any little scrap we get. This is beyond disappointing. This era is being very poorly handled, especially by her management. There is still no solid info on the album release, title, cover, pre-order, or next single. Even though most of this info has leaked. She teased lyrics and then disappeared. This is not the way modern artists build hype for an album. Her team knows full well we’re eager to hear new songs and they make us wait a month to hear an old one. Come on. You cannot seriously expect us to really be excited about that. We all love her and are eagerly waiting for the new music, but it doesn’t mean we cannot complain about stuff that is legitimately just not right. Even the most patient of fans has their limits.
I really hope she did more than just these 2 songs. Maybe they put Girlfriend out to attract some non fans before they drop the next performance, maybe she did the song she was teasing lyrics of. Otherwise this promo strategy makes no sense. Why wait a month to release this?
