Something I just thought of is that, regardless of trying to analyze how long the title of the song is on her paper, if she did indeed have a lyric sheet for a song besides HAW she had to have performed something else. She doesn’t need a lyric sheet for GF and she clearly wasn’t using it in this performance anyway. So hopefully that means she did perform another new song. As others mentioned, maybe a couple new ones and an old single or 2?

Girlfriend is not ok for this era when she is having a mature era. KHO or even Fly are better choices for the kind of album she's about to release.
Perhaps Dumb Blonde is coming and that's why they dropped a GF performance.

It could’ve been ok if that had been more of an upbeat and rocker performance on her side, but she looks so bored. I’m getting some cringeworthy 2013 RNR live performance vibes from this. While the HAW one was beautiful, this is just awkward to watch, sorry. If this is the performer we’re getting this new era, then fuck it, I’m done. She’s not 80 to be acting like a granny. Is it so hard to bring back the 2011 performer? Where is she?! I can even handle the allergies and nasal sound (even though it’s pretty bad), but her standing like a statue singing to one of her most upbeat songs? Man, are we in for a treat...  |

Guys can we stop pretending it's all on avrils team? At some extent she must have some voice over her career, she has so many songs to choose from, why would she sing girlfriend for the 472863th time?
I miss when she promoted new songs. She even has many songs that have never ever been performed, c'mon I don't get why so much laziness.
PS. And it's not like her unperformed songs are very bad or anything.

I agree but you know she loves the upbeat songs. GF is one of those and her most famous besides Complicated. I don't find her picking GF as shocking. Deeply dissapointed? Definitely.

It's about all these characteristics usually associated with men who are leaders, but when a woman has them, she is labeled "a bitch". And Ramona was like, hell yas queen, I wear the pants! I am in charge! I am the executive producer! I'm not anticipating Dumb Blonde either, but I'll take it if it comes out before the album does. |
