I'm not a fan of Christmas songs either, but I know Avril really loves to sing them. So even if it wouldn't be songs that I would bring in my Mp3 would be cool in terms of media relevance and as a trailblazer for the release of the record in February.

Not to mention she said it herself, in that radio interview, that she's having a new album coming out in February. You are right on one thing though, we don't have the official confirmation on the DATE but we do know the month. (Obviously assuming they won't release it later xD) 5:32 |

They released HAW in september yet we still have zero more info about the album itself, and another BMG artist ike Dido had the press release for her album which coming a month later than Avril's. Somethings going on and I still say the same thing, I'll believe it when I read it somewhere official, just like she wrote a letter about HAW.
But hey, maybe the video she just shot is about the album, who knows

Not to mention, the fact that there’s no specific date - just “February” is a bit disconcerting. If it was %100 coming in February, that’s three months away - they should have a set date.
The fact they’re saying just February, and not a certain day like the 20th or something like that makes me believe there’s still things going on behind the scenes.

maybe she just want to do a special announcemente for the specific date and not just in a random interview. Maybe the video she was shooting is related to it. It would be weird that she made a video to say she was under BMG and not making a video to announce her 6th album IMO.

Well there was that random article by Daily Mail that said February 20th but I don't know where they would have gotten that info from and it was never announced anywhere else. Still, they wouldn't have just pulled that date from out of nowhere.
