Since you guys didn’t post this, I’m assuming that you don’t know. Earlier today, Bebe Rexha recieved the head above water shirt by Avril Lavigne. Do you think this means that the song “ in touch” is still happening? Had no idea. How do you know, I can't find it on her Instagram or is it on Twitter? The song can totally happen but like most of the details of this album it is unknown at this time. |

Her team and label has changed 3 times with the last 3 albums... no modern day artist puts out a single and waits 5 months to put out the album, at least not by the label’s choice. It is clear Avril was very indecisive when making the album... the producer changes were her idea. In a day where labels want to churn out content constantly, I cannot fathom why Avril wants to wait 5 months to release the album... we haven’t seen mic pics in months (Bonnie McKee was the last), so the album is clearly done. The photos have been edited for months... what the fuck is the hold up?
How do you know it was her idea?
Maybe they'll tell us what's going on now once the album will be released, but at least we know it'll be out in February so... even if there are still 3 months, we have a month to look forward to now  Based on Avril’s Instagram post “Always trust your instincts.” and then her starting to work with Stephan immediately thereafter. It’s just a guess, but I feel like it’s pretty obvious. Avril has numerous times given us a month for her last 3 albums and delayed them numerous times each... I am not believing a generic “February” until there’s a pre-order link with an official date. |

The preorder is most likely coming on December 25, with a single announcement for early January, the album cover and the number of tracks. I think that's what she recorded some days ago.
Just imagine that she delayed the album just to announce it on Christmas like 3 years ago. This album was more in the mood for this time than for feb, IMO.
Imagine, if everything had been as planned in 2016, now we would be in the gap of AL6 and AL7, hearing rumours of she hitting the studio.

I understand the reluctance of some fans given the past experiences of Avril's records, but I think February will be truly the month of the release. Has been told three times in her presence. If the label and Avril herself weren't sure, I don't think they would have said it so many times. Of course, the officiality is still missing, but we can assume that that it will be the date. Then there may always be last-minute obstacles, but come on it would be too much even Avril!
