Just another month. Avril decided to go back to the studio for some final polishing. You forgot that buying the singles, you get her B sides "Socks and Coal" and "Bad Reputation" and for just 1999$ you can get the meet an greet package "Stay a hundred miles away from Avril". You can have a -10% discount if you come from South America and can prove it by submitting your passport If you buy the super limited deluxe fan edition you get an extra bonus track: Avril's 12 year old cover of Knockin On Heaven's Door. The DVD, however, is the best option IMO. It includes such groundbreaking extras as "Cooking With The Kroegers: Poutine for Christmas" with Chad Kroeger's DEF Leppard redemption of "Pour some sugar on me" (Pour some gravy on me) and the 3 hours long " The Kroegers' Holy Night, Silent Night; Behind The Scenes", filmed inside their dishwasher after the Christmas dinner. So intimate

Funny enough, I just discovered Kelly's Christmas Album. I'm a fan of her for a long time, but I never paid any attention to this album, till I randomly saw it on YT. And guess what I'm hearing for the last two weeks on repeat?? It is so weird hearing christmas music in the summer. I also thought to "save" the songs for winter, but I can't resist!. The album is just too good. My favourite song is definitely "White Christmas". That's the reason why I have such high expectations for Avril's Christmas Album. I have no idea if she could beat that
For the question itself, yes I like Christmas Music. It's not that I hear it on repeat or buy an album (except for Kelly's) but I like these "superduper-omg-christmas is so wonderful and we are all so happy and there are no problems and everything's fine" songs tbh. But I also like jazz songs and ballads

I like Christmas music at Christmas, but I do think it can be a bit overplayed. Although I do really like I Believe In Father Christmas by Greg Lake and despite it being incredible cliche, Fairytale Of New York by The Pogues ft. Kirsty MacColl.

I worked in Asda last year and it was so soul destroying hearing the same christmas songs on repeat for hours on end for about three months.

I used to work there too, and the store I worked in started playing Christmas music at the end of September And yes, "Soul Destroying" is the correct phrase to use listening to the same music on repeat (and working for ASDA )

I'm glad there's someone else on here who understands the ASDA induced pain haha - although ASDA FM does occasionally play Avril but other than that it is beyond horrendous.

Last fall I worked in a clothing store and they would play the same Christmas songs over and over, except they were music videos that we would play on our TV and it was stuff like Justin Bieber, Aly and AJ, and Mariah Carey- mainly those Disney tween bop artists. Over. And over. Again. On video. (It was a store for tween girls)
