It said the second bedroom is near the garage so it gives them space. But yeah it's weird that she lives with her hairdresser but her hair barely changes. Always straight long blonde hair. And now she's wearing a wig lol
In Jessica Simpson's book she mentioned her close friends were her manager, publicist and hairstylist. Basically people who work for her. So I guess it's a celebrity thing to do that.

So Avril removed all the references to the HAW era.. and changed her profile pic (but I think it's from Dumb Blonde Photoshoot).
Is the HAW era officialy over ?!

Considering she’s working on new music and the tour will likely not resume in early 2021 as planned, I’d say it’s safe to say HAW era is over. Even the tour I think on her website is now just called “Avril Lavigne Live,” there’s no reference to the HAW tour.
Personally I’m glad to see the era come to a close (if that’s what’s really happening). By Feb, the album will be 2 years old. She isn’t even performing most of the songs live anyway. I felt WAW was a fitting close to the era. Now she’s working on new stuff, working with new people, she even bought a new house. She seems ready to go in another direction musically.

And you can also tell it was painful for her to always go back to those times in which she was bedridden, hence, why she never really wanted to delve deep into the album. She's clearly past that time and is living life to the fullest with her family and friends. The album just doesn't reflect who she is anymore. Lol, not even the love songs dedicated to Philip make sense anymore. There's nothing about that album that's keeping her attached to it.
I'm happy that she's "closing the casket" and ready for something new and uplifting, something that actually reflects where she is now.
I think the problem is that she took too long to release HAW. Maybe if we had gotten the album in early 2018 things would've been different and maybe she would've performed more of those songs she would still connect to.
Same happened with GL. She was ready for release in early 2010 and we didn't get it till 2011, once she was already done with it and writing music for a new album. I just hope she finally learns from this and we can get the new album sometime next year.

I think lately she felt very inspired to create pop-punk/rock songs. She seemed really into MGK's latest album, which is full of bangers and now the collab with Mod Sun, who is also going back to his "punk" roots. I'm also ready to leave the HAW era behind, even though I really enjoyed the album and still do, but I'm in the mood for upbeat songs.

I hope this whole situation helped realize time is precious. The whole corona thing ruined her tour and all her plans and probably made her loose money. As TomX said, if she released the album in 2018 she could've closed the era normally. Taylor release an album out of nowhere bc she realised there's no point on waiting for "promo" which basically doesn't even work anymore. Everyone is on social media, which is your target audience: young people. And yes, we are not "young" anymore like 12-18, but what's the point on going to TV if nobody watches it anymore. All her interviews and TV appearances i saw them online. I listen to her on spotify or youtube, LIKE, she doesn't even need promo. Every Billie Eillish fan already knows who she is, which is basically everyone at this point lol xD
But that's my point: i hope she realize there's no point on waiting so long to release music. It's just a song after all, if it's going to flop u make another one and try. It's not like this "waiting strategy" to make everything "good" or polish the final result worked for her. Contrary, it damaged her even more.
I'm ready for AL7 and I hope we can get at least something in January, (she kinda makes promises in the year-end right)? xD

I find it so odd she seems to live with them. I can’t imagine living with my boyfriend and having a friend hanging round all the time. If Avril wants to give her somewhere to live for whatever reason then buy a house lol! It is a little strange to always be the third wheel but she is Avrils hairdresser and makeup artist I think and probably does loads of other stuff for her, so it makes sense she lives with her I guess. Even she is wearing not really "natural" wig, without hairline haha) It's really strange, cause Lauren always makes a good hairstyle for Avril but i think avril better just do her real hair, than wear this one and only not good wig( i mean her blue wig was much better

Also her web site, AD, Merch designs are not that good and professional anymore. LIke she is a LEGEND and has a design as unpopular chick, from nowhere. That's sad that's she has no taste in it, and trust her team. no one cares about it, maybe i am as a professional designer see it)))0 and hope to make everything for her for free haha. I really believe she can fit into this pop punk nostalgia wave and because of her image turn back on it. Like she will be popular again just for who she was, and that is the easiest way) But without good stylist, good managers and promo she wont do that and will be flop again. People always want something visual. I miss so much photoshoots of her, cause this era she wasn't on much magazines. Which makes me sad, cause she has beauty and personality, and i just wanna see her in a contemporary magazine wearing modern clothes and etc) For example, YungBlud, which style is basically the modern version of TBDT era. Like Avril really have this style vibes still, it is who she is, but her black leggings are old fashioned vision .... i just wanna see at least one good fashionable shoot made by professionals. Sad her taste become worser, so she really NEEDS a good personal stylist, unfortunately people like me are in minority :В cause most of fans love everything about her looks, and her friends too. Even Pete's style is really better, so Avril need anyone to tell her that skinny clothes are not actual anymore, lol and our time is perfect for her to go back to 2004-2008 style vibes (baggy pants, boots), which is becoming popular again, and if she misses it.... So im just sad most media portals and major Magazines are not interested to make a shoot with her( and she even don't wanna also. (Remember her dream to make all eras photoshoot) Finally, we see how Avril looks without her management taking part in it, we see her real music tastes, and HAW is really a good album. but this era is a flop(AL era was even better) I'm just dissapointed that she has a good potential and afraid she will waste and lose it, but we will see. Maybe fans are always want their idols to be perfect and maybe we have to accept Avril and don't ask from her what we want, idk. She seemed just take money from us for her foundation, pay a lot just for "Abbey Dawn" logo merch.... I just know how much she can really make and i see how stuck she is between smt.

However the point you made about Taylor releasing an album out of nowhere is due to her work ethic. I feel like Avril just doesn’t have that. Maybe it’s because of the Lyme I don’t know? But I feel like as a musician Taylor will go away and write songs alone (does she use co-writers I’m guessing she probably does?) but the way it comes across (to me anyway) is that she writes an album and the record company release it. There doesn’t seem to be any conflict between them. Although does she having her own label?I know Avril’s song writing capabilities have been questioned previously but it just seems that even when she does write things alone the record company won’t release it. Is this because it’s not good enough?

I’m not sure any sort of management change, marketing or promotion will ever give her anywhere near the success she has enjoyed previously. Music is cyclical, one minute you’re hot the next you’re not. Rock/pop is just not popular at the moment. It’s like when Avril first came out boybands/girl bands were on the decline apart from some exceptions and bands/artists playing guitars were in. I feel like she is happy with the level of success/control she seems to have now. I think she accepts she’s not popular anymore and will probably ride of the success of her hits and nostalgia they bring. As fans it is frustrating as the last album was really good and overlooked. I just wish she’d built on this momentum and that we’re not waiting years for another album.

Taylor is still with a label but I think they’re really just there for distribution purposes. Any label worth their salt would know a superstar like her can release anything at any time and it will sell like hot cakes. There is no “risk” so to speak, just let Taylor do her thing because she has the fan base to back it up. But Avril doesn’t have quite that level of fan base, her fan base is very supportive and dedicated and loyal, but not nearly as big. And much too widespread. The biggest market is the US and I don’t think she has that many fans here anymore. So it’s a much bigger risk for a label to put money into her album, they have to make sure they can recoup the costs, so naturally if they think the music isn’t good enough (i.e., commercial enough) they surely have a say in it.
Avril’s never going to be as big as she once was, I don’t know why fans are so obsessed with that. The type of music she does isn’t currently that popular, even if artists like MGK, Yungblud, etc. are doing it. They are (I’m assuming) younger than her, for one thing. And male. Like it or not, those factors count in this industry. I also think they know how to modernize the sound a bit while I don’t think Avril does. I think she’s content with where she’s at and frankly doesn’t want a huge career anymore do because that would require work and effort on her part and I think she’s been over that since AL era. I think she just wants to make music she likes and go on tour and enjoy it with her small but very dedicated fan base. If she wanted to be big again, she’d put a ton more effort into her career than she has been and would probably do a more commercial genre of music.

I'm not too sure there's anything Avril could do to became as big as she once was. It's not like she's the only one either, artists are only new once and that's when they attract the most interest from the media. She is still making music and still has as you say a loyal and dedicated fanbase especially in Asia and South America. It's debatable whether many of the artists who are popular today will still be as popular as Avril when they have been in the industry for 18 years.
I was watching the early 00's documentary Skater Girl recently and it was interesting comparing what people predicted would be the future of Avril's career compared to what's happened. A few of the prediction were very accurate, such as being in the movies, changing her image on her third album and having a career for 15 years which she has already surpassed!
