Wow what an amazing record! I've only listened to it 3 times but so far what I can say is :
I'm still in love with HAW and TMIO. Dumb Blonde is a great fun track, the chorus is repetitive (perfect for radio I guess) but I absolutely love the verses. Also, I like the fact that the solo version is on the CD. I always like it when Avril raps. Am I mistaken or are the drums different from the single version though?? I love the drums in it. I had high hopes for Devil, Birdie and It Was In Me. The first two are everything I hoped for and are even better. I am so impressed by Avril's writting skills. I hope this gets people to shut up once and for all about her so-called lack of songwriting skills. She's amazing. It Was In Me is a great track but maybe it isn't as epic as I've imagined it based on comments. Another standout track for me is "Goddess". Under it apparent simplicity, the song is actually very subtil and well written. It screams Avril all over it even though it's something a bit new from her. It reminds me a bit of "Falling Fast" but even better. "Souvenir" is nice, gives me "Bitchin' Summer" vibes as some of you have mentionned. As for the other tracks, they didn't do much for me and I probably wouldn't listen to them again if they weren't from Avril. I'm sure I'll get to love them with time though (this comes from someone who loves Hello Kitty even though it's miles away from anything I'd ever listen to if it wasn't Avril). Warrior is amazing! I love it so much. The perfect closing track. I also had a chance to just listen to the leaked tracks and i am so glad they didn't make the cut. I have a feeling if she still was with Epic/Sony/RCA the record would've been full of that stuff.

THANKS GOD Don't Stop, Break It So Good and In Touch aren't in the album. Specially Don't Stop. Also, I don't like the Warrior demo. What about those weird sounds??? They don't fit with the song. The acoustic version sounds so much better.

I've just realized that the melody in the chorus of Love Me Insane reminds me of Butterflies by Kacey Musgraves...

I'm such a nerd, lol, I still haven't listened to the album, I have obligated myself to listen to the album for the first time from my physical copy, so that I can experience the album with its booklet and everything in full glory.... BUT MY PRE-ORDER IS NOT HERE YET!!!!!!! I'm trying to stay strong and stick to my self-made promise, but reading all those beautiful, superexciting comments from everyone makes me feel like I totally miss out on the party. The HAW has officially started, but I somehow managed to keep myself away from it, voluntarily. It's insane, but I just can't get this idea out of my head. Damn, sometimes I hate my own stupid ideas UPS better be shipping s**n

It Was In Me best song of the album hands down As a IWY sequel it deserves MV too, and a unique one, not some mediocre stuff. Where's IWY's director?

Guys, I’m really sure this isn’t the hype talking but It Was In Me is really THAT song. Hands down. OMG. it surely is up there in her top 5 songs of ALL time. IT WAS IN MEEEEEE!! (Major relatable tea also: Even more soothing because I’m now in stuck in an hospital accommodation, alone and friendless in somewhere near Keighley)

I'm really enjoying this album, the most I've enjoyed an Avril album since TBDT. I really feel like I'm going on a journey when listening to this record and with Warrior at the end it feels like the perfect track to finish on (even though it is one of the more basic tracks).
I'm not going to do a big review because I can't be bothered but I've seen some comments on the fact that Dumb Blonde doesn't work in the middle of the album. I actually disagree with this, I feel like it's a good break from the slower more deeper songs. I think it works in the same way When You're Gone works on TBDT - after having 5 upbeat songs its nice to have a ballad. With HAW, after 4 fairly emotional songs, it's nice to have some energy injected in half way through - I'm not criticizing the emotional content of the other songs though.

My roommate who loves rock music. Like classic rock, like the album. He think Devil should be the next single.
