So basically, promoters can lie to us for months until they get the refund money and say they finally found no date. this is the plan? because I find it hard to believe that they can't find any damn new dates in the whole year of 2021, or fall / end of 2020. avril doesn't have any other job currently, she's not busy, I don't understand why she prefers to lose all the money and no continue with her tour. I still don't understand why she didn't say anything more clear in his latest IG publication like all the artists in the world. I find it ridiculous to have to be informed only by confusing emails from promoters. Everyone's trying to reschedule for similar times and she needs to find a chunk of available time when the venues are all free. It would be easy enough if she was just booking one offs here and there.
I don't really understand why people want to hear new dates so soon. It won't make those dates come any faster. She couldannounce them now for October or announce them in August for October. The dates stay the same.

As much as we want it there’s probably no point her rescheduling the tour for this year. We are still in the unknown. She could postpone it til August to find that we’re all pretty much in this lock down for it to be cancelled again. And I guess there’s no point doing it for next year as the album is two years old by then. Write a new album and then go from there (in fact tour Europe and Asia first then the US and Canada!) I enjoyed tonight, bottle of wine and the HAW tour on YouTube. Really would have been great to see her tonight. Another time maybe.

So tonight should be going to see Avril in Manchester. We’ve decided we’re going to be saddos and watch a concert on YouTube on our telly. Can someone recommend a decent video on YouTube. I know there’s loads from the Bonez tour? Full, professionally filmed Avril concerts would include My World DVD, Bonez in Budokan, and TBDTour in Toronto. She also has some shorter concerts that were professionally filmed Iike Live in Soeul (UMS era) and some from TBDT era. Unfortunately there are no real decent recordings from GL, AL, or HAW tours except fan recordings. If you search “Avril Lavigne head above water tour” on YouTube there are a few fan recordings of a full show, like this one: the intro for haw is freaking beautiful. i would love to hear like a ost movie version or something. an orchestral version :'C

People want ew dates to see she’s really planning to go on tour. Many musicians, who didn’t say a word on postponing their tours, out of the blue announced new, rescheduled dates. Not to mention most of her fans just want to get their money back And, I don’t agree with this that there’s no point in going on tour in 2021 because HAW would be 2 years old. First of all she doesn’t play many tracks from the album. Second of all a lot of musicians tour for over two years to support their albums. Third of all, it’s a very uncommon situation and for every artist the promo cycle is extended (unless they don’t want to). My only concern here with the EU/UK tour is that they know they cannot keep the demand. That they know they upgraded the venues because the demand was there at the end of 2019 but now they are afraid it won’t last. But they can always book smaller venues.

Because she doesn't care, she's probably over Head Above Water era and she thinks she'll put out a new record soon and she will do a new era tour..
The problem is that it always takes her years to release a record, and usually the tour is 1 year after the release and also now everything will be stopped or seriously slowed down for 2021 (so all she can do is basically write) , also they say money are running out of big companies and they will let tour only BIG BIG artists if things go tis way, so I don't know at this point if we will see Avril in 2025 or never maybe

I have asked Matt Reilly of the Avril band on an IG live if he knows about the tour situation or the rescheduling. They say they don't know anything about reprogramming, they don't know when Europe will be "open" again. He thinks that they will take time to reschedule new dates since the other artists are rescheduling for 2021. (I still don't understand why it is so difficult to obtain new dates if all the singers are doing it and announcing without problem). Therefore, the emails from livenation, ticketmaster, etc., are bullshit, nor does the band itself know ANYTHING. I hope they can refund us soon the money

Email aren’t bullshit - current policy and different regulations in some countries.

She's been working with Travis Clark for awhile and Machine Gun Kelly has been involved as well I think. And then the other day she posted a pic on IG recording in her home studio, so definitely think she's already been working on new music for some time already. We probably won't hear these songs since it takes her years to put out a record and most of the early material gets scrapped, but it's good to know she is working on new music sooner rather than later.
I'm just curious... what is really the difference if the shows are canceled versus rescheduled, but if they were rescheduled for like next year? If they just canceled the Europe and Asia dates but then created a new tour for next year, I don't think it would make any difference. It just wouldn't be the "Head Above Water Tour" specifically. She hasn't been playing that much of the new album live, so if she just wanted to play a show of hits and singles it doesn't make any difference what the tour name is. The fans wouldn't be missing much if the HAW Tour instead turned into AL7 tour. There'd be a few new songs thrown in, with the rest being hits. It is the same tour over and over again. The only unique thing about this tour was really the costumes and the HAW video intro.

The only unique thing about this tour was really the costumes and the HAW video intro. I think the big difference is that if it’s re scheduled it means our tickets remain valid for the new dates. If it’s cancelled and re organised it means another scramble for tickets. Unless of course she re arranges in bigger venues. I’m feeling quite emotional typing this tbh because in a few hours time it would have been my turn to see her in London.
