So I just got done watching a livestream concert by a country artist I follow that was sponsored by US Cellular. I think the concert was pre-recorded and then just livestreamed, but basically she performed with her whole band and the camera/audio quality was really high quality. On Saturday she is going to be doing an actual live concert that will be streamed live through some website called VYE or something. Some tickets can be upgraded to "VIP" where you will be part of a virtual audience and have your screen broadcast on a big screen and you can interact with her and she can interact with the audience. You had to purchase a ticket for this event. There are many artists doing livestream concerts like this, whether pre-recorded or live, free or paid. I don't understand why Avril can't or won't do something like this, considering she was supposed to be on tour right now. Even if they didn't exactly do it "live" but it was recorded in advance and then livestreamed. She could easily get her band together or just do an acoustic set. Hello, which artist was it? I'm curious what tech team they used.

It’d be nice if she did something, given it’s looking less and less likely next years dates go ahead.

The sports editor at the BBC says no fans at football matches in the UK until well into next year. If we’re not allowed crowds outside then there’s absolutely zero chance of the UK tour dates happening in Feb.

I don't think the concerts will take place.... They have to reschedual again, I don't see a full crown in Feb a possibility tho.

I just worry at what point they’ll stop rescheduling and just say she’ll come back on the next tour, whenever that may be

Yeah, according to the new restrictions say about 5 or 6 people for indoor sport activities. And the restrictions are to be in place for half a year. So I don’t see Avril playing in England early 2021

They actually had a „test“ concert in Germany some weeks ago. I just heard about it, don’t know how they really planned and carried it out though...will check that lol

Don’t know about over in Europe but at least in the US they’re playing with the idea of either venues operating at half or less capacity or having “pods” at concerts and stuff where you have sort of a gated area where you and your party sit together. So naturally spacing out distance for each pod takes up seats, but it’s a way to get people into the venue and space them out safely instead of not opening at all.

This tour sold so surprisingly well but they can’t keep rearranging indefinitely. I wonder if they just cut their losses and cancel it until they know it can definitely go ahead.

Pods seem like a weird idea to me. Large groups don't always got to concerts together. I've always gone just with one friend. Some people go solo. Or teens ask their parents not to stay with them so they sit elsewhere.
In LA, the governor said we might not start opening up completely until March. Who knows with what kind of precautions or restrictions. Let's hope the holidays go well.
