I just hope that on her own tour and performances she dresses like she’s doing for Mod’s concerts because those outfits are killing it. The costumes from the Haw tour were kind of trashy overall and she dressed exactly the same for both the BST and the AL Tour.

I actually thought most of the costumes for HAW were a step above GL and AL, but the tulle wings were a little strange. I liked everything else.

It’s so weird to me that venues are posting this info and Avril herself told BA about the tour but no official announcement has been made. Maybe she’s waiting when she drops new music to announce it all at once? yes please I hope this new tour will be with new music cause I'm already digging the new era waaay more

I was supposed to see her in Berlin, Munich, Paris, London, and Manchester before the pandemic hit. Which cities were you guys gonna see her in? Basically the whole tour, except Manchester which I don't have a ticket for! So 17 shows in my schedule, hopefully the new dates will be announced soon! Wow, you were gonna go to almost every show on the Euro tour? You must be rich!

It could be. Probably the new era will be different from the past.
She could easily release her first single and then going on tour since Jan (Canada) and Europe in March. She will sing 3-4 songs off the new record we don't know.
Probably around the time she tours in Europe (March, April) She releases a 2 single and the album is officially out.
Then she will tour USA in the Summer, as she said

Those black high waisted pants with the red loose top wasn’t flattering in my opinion and those similar outfits. The white gown for HAW was nice tho.

Wow, you were gonna go to almost every show on the Euro tour? You must be rich! The actual idea was to discover Europe's nightlife and stay at the finest hotels. Then I found out Avril Lavigne was about to perform in Europe and thought: How cool would it be if I did the same tour as Avril, giving me the opportunity to hear her sing every night!!

I honestly hope they'll postpone the European tour again. I just can't imagine the pandemic being over by spring 2022, meaning going to a concert then might still be risky. At least I feel it's a bit too risky for my liking, despite vaccination and masks. Not that I don't believe in the vaccines; I completely do! But having so many people so close to each other... the thought just makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe. I'd really love to go, though, because it's been 10 years (as I'm posting this, on the hour, exactly 10 years, to be exact) when I last saw Avril live. And this time, she's supposed to come to a city that's just about 30 minutes from where I live. No one ever comes this close to my hometown. I'd hate to miss out on this...

I don't know the situation in Europe but I also have the same worries about going to concerts in the US. I'm vaccinated and would wear my mask but I don't even want to go out much and haven't gone to eat at a restaurant since Covid began. And it's not like restaurants are not safe but the thought of going to a concert or event like that makes me nervous because of so many people around. And singing, I like to sing along lol. Sometimes I think I'm alone in this kind of thinking.

Sometimes I think I'm alone in this kind of thinking. Totally agree with you guys too! Even if you’re vaccinated and wear a mask is a bit risky to me. In The Netherlands you don’t have to wear a mask anymore so no one does! It’s kinda crazy. Only while being at doctors you have to wear them. I’d rather have AL8 sooner than a concert at this point with COVID. And I was so excited to have tickets for 2 shows but I would feel uncomfortable at a concert I think. And indeed I only hear people who aren’t afraid and can’t wait to party again.

Honestly COVID is just something we'll have to deal with and will never fully go away. If you're either vaccinated or have shown a negative test result before going to a concert I don't see why it shouldn't go ahead. The event industry has already been hit by covid so much, it's time to get things rolling again.

Yeah I mean Avril and her team are going to do whatever they think is best, if she already pretty much said she’s going on tour early next year, then that is likely what will happen. Fans can decide from there if they want to go or not. I’m not sure I’d feel entirely comfortable standing in a crowd of people I don’t know maskless either, especially at that time of year when it’s also cold and flu season, but if you’re fully vaccinated and wearing a mask the risk of getting sick is significantly less. And a lot of venues now are requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test before entry and no matter what everyone is required to wear masks, even if fully vaccinated. That is about as much precaution as anyone can take without shutting things down again completely. It’s up to fans whether they want to take the risk or not. But I wouldn’t be mad if Avril decided to still go ahead with the tour, she has waited long enough and her band/crew deserves to make their living.

I’m not against mask wearing at all if needed, but honestly I wouldn’t attend a show if I had to wear one. Don’t know what it’s like in other countries where aircon is the norm but concert venues here are generally disgustingly hot. A mask would be so uncomfortable it’d completely ruin the enjoyment. I’ve got a few shows booked for next year, at the moment two aren’t requiring any proof of vaccination/test, and one is. None require masks. Mask wearing has pretty much gone out the window in England lol.
I just think shows go ahead but people need to do what they’re comfortable with. If you’re not comfortable attending a show, don’t go. If you want to wear a mask, do, if you don’t, don’t.

The music event industry here in the UK is more or less operating as before the pandemic... We have had summer festivals go ahead and large concerts are starting up again as all social distancing laws have been removed. So if Avril rescheduled for Spring/Summer next year it will definitely go ahead here in the UK (unless there is a 4th wave which shuts us down again!).
That being said, I got tickets to HAW Tour for Amsterdam as the London dates sold out so quickly... So if anyone would like to swap with me let me know, as I would prefer it if I didn't have to catch a plane to get to the concert hahaha.
