I know sometimes I see people do that and it doesn't work because they type the screen name which differs from the username. I usually do it the "long way" by clicking on the blue reply button then finding the icon of the user/person with a hyperlink symbol underneath it. Click that and type the username into the box, it will appear, click on it, then the tag appears where your cursor is. Here we are being helpful in the nominations thread for most helpful member...
