Anyone getting flashbacks to to 10 years ago. She looks almost the same here. Cute. Not only does she look the same (I mean, it's Avril), but the fact that they're wearing masks in that video is the perfect cherry on top lmao. Avril, the prophet. But I'm not gonna lie, I got pretty excited with that little teaser! I wasn't expecting it at all. It doesn't mean anything because as we all know, there's no guarantee we'll ever get to hear it and it's just a 1.5 sec teaser anyway, but it does sound like it might be a fun song like she's been promising. Above all, I'm happy to see her so active. They'd be very smart to release her lead single not too long from now while she's seemingly so passionate about what she's doing. Like we've been discussing here lately, there's really no point in waiting around these days. She can easily release her single and continue working on the album (assuming they have enough songs written that it wouldn't take them another year to finish it). In fact, she just saw firsthand that happening with Modsun, so hopefully it will inspire her to take a more modern approach with her own music as well. |

She obviously has more than enough songs written. She said she had material for 2 albums when HAW came out. She can easily just make those tracks pop-rock and done. Which maybe she is indeed doing, we don't know xD

I'm pretty sure this is going to be TBDT 2.0
The sound from the very short snippet.. the collaborators, Travis Barker.. the fishnets ahah. No, seriously I can feel a huge TBDT vibe. Maybe because Travis already worked for many TBDT songs.. and Modsun is recording many drum bases for her songs.. she will feel inspired, but it's an Avril album and we all know her style.
Obviously there's going to be some modern thing.. like the collaboration with MGK (which is going to be pop).
I don't think it's going to be hugely punk, nor dark like UMS.. it will be more like TBDT imo, we'll see!

I only just created a new account a few months ago here, originally had one years ago but then couldn't reset my password etc and then couldn't figure out how to create a new account for years lol I'm only 31 but not the best with technology haha. Back in 2004 it was the only place I would come for Avril news. Before social media was around it was like the only place. I just used to spend hours trawling through the gallery looking at all the photo shoots and paparazzi pics. I miss them days!! |

Well, I always come to Bandaids trough google search (A dumb thing I do) and google list this website as Avril herself like "Avrilbandaids, singersongwriter, photo of Avril". So yeah, google knows is just as iconic as the artist lol. Which begs the question, why is it called bandaids? I remember i found the forum around the time of TBDT single release, so I've been wondering this for more than a decade. |
