AL7 Album Speculations Thread

god I wish, Mobile is one of her most underrated songs and the music video has such a nostalgic and great vibe to it.

My guess is that those pictures are from the music video (?) She only had the black extensions for the music video so far or that we're aware of. The wall does seem similar to somewhere near where modsun posted that video. Maybe they just did some pictures bc why not? xD

I hope we'll get something more elaborated than those pics or pool pics for the album, even tho i loved them. But they doesn't seem to have a purpose or theme or anything. I want a cohesive album and theme and color palette, everything should just fit. I love the pics but they aren't cover art material, at least for my taste ://

GL was a great photoshoot album, she just chose the worst photo as the cover....🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I'm hoping she'll maybe again do some photoshoots with a "uniformish" attire too, she looked very badass and confident in the antique jacket/coat thing below, and I suppose one could count the odd shirt with red X from UMS also as sort of a uniform, and that one was pretty cool looking, too ;-).

If she could only add a bit MORE black extensions, like truly in UMS era(

To be honest...they were VERY lame with the HAW booklet. They added the worst pictures and only the underwater photoshoot which was basically ALL blurred and messy....but oh well....that was her aesthetic from 2016-2019 i guess... There were some photoshoots that weren't added like the one with white background and stripped blouse or whatever that was, then the Devil photoshoot which they obviously had more shots not just one, but they only used one picture...and then the ones with the crown in her backyard....like seriously, all of those photsoots were FAR better than the crappy booklet they gave us... and i don't even want to talk about the cover art again....

SO....i hope this time they will put some work on it. Thinking the theme, more than just one photoshoot... and IDK, good quality pictures would be a good starting point (call me crazy) 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

oh..i almost forgot about the warrior photoshoot....that was competing for the worst photoshoot award right against the album cover art and lead single cover. She seriously needs to get a good retoucher this era 'cause HAW just wasn't it......

this guy that works with modsun seems OK, at least in terms of photoshop. I'm not the biggest fan of this type of photos where it's lit with onyl a big flash and makes everything look plain. BUT oh well....it's definitely better than what we got last era. I wouldn't mind him making the AL7 art style, but i do have to see the booklet for MGK's album to see a better and bigger picture of his work.

I don’t like AL5 cover at all too and to be honest I don’t like AL6 cover as well.. I never really understood the poetry behind seeing her naked and a guitar (I read the meaning but still find it meh) and also I find it too dark in color..it’s too dark imo so at this point I hope for some bright colour like TBDT for AL7 at least in the album cover

I wonder if HAW was another AL5 situation where the cover art was chosen long before the track list was finalized. I think they could have chosen a better photo, maybe one of the ones where she is actually underwater or something. Her sitting on top of the water doesn’t really make any sense. And the charcoal color grading is.... bleh. I don’t know why they couldn’t have left it as full color, it probably would have looked better. Maybe the photo is so dark to represent the dark times she went through.
