AL7 Album Speculations Thread

I just hope whatever it is that they’re working on that we actually get to hear it, whether it’s for her album or his. I’m tired of seeing her work on music early on in the process and it always looks so promising, and then 90% of it gets scrapped and we end up hearing something completely different.

Thanksgiving in America happens this week. I wonder if she’s planning on cooking up a meal at home at least for her, Pete, and Lauren. So we might see her take a bit of a break this week from the studio, possibly.

Oh no Bo, no more food. I prefer the studio teasing even if Modsun is annoying af. Sorry but I know of him from bad gossip and I side eye the guy. His music sounds okay though so that's interesting. But Feldman!!! Omg she really is working with him. Even if it's for Modsuns release I'm excited cause that would mean we'd hear it soon. Compared to being her album and who knows if we would get to hear it.

She loves bridges....besides MHE and IWY what are some examples of her bridges? I can't remember them rn. She really screwed up GYWYL by not adding one btw.

The pink hair are extensions. You buy some pieces of long hair and add them as you make your braid. I've gotten used. To her making those ugly long braids, well not ugly just that they're so fake, that I think nothing of it. Pink though maybe that does mean something. Modsun always posted the video camera emoji when commenting her skating pics on November 1.

Ohhh the RW bridge is the whole reason I enjoy that song. That's a good one.

My biggest concern is her trying to make a bratty pop record without the RCA team of producers she had.

I've just watched an interview that Miley did about her new album with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, it was a very extensive interview. I wish Avril would/will do something like that when her new album comes out. A very long, in-depth interview about where she was at mentally when making the album and discussing the songs would be really awesome, instead of always getting the same vague, canned answers in short interviews. Zane Lowe does really great interviews.

Yes!! And you know what made that so interesting? The fact that when you listened to the album later you could tell exactly where she had input and how much she was actually involved in the music. Something that I love about TBDT is that thanks to that documentary, you can tell Avril had a saying in every aspect of each song, from guitars, to drums, to lyrics, to blowing beer bottles, etc and why she chose each. It really shows how great of a musician she is. It would be so great to have that, and I wish she had done it with the HAW album...such a wasted opportunity!!

I don’t think so. I think she mentioned that she’s already working on more new stuff and that once an album is out, she kind of becomes detached from it because it’s no longer just hers. Especially when she had to turn albums in months before their release, by then she no longer related to the songs. But I don’t think that’s the case with this album.
