Avril is with Skrillex on her latest instagram story.
At first, the idea of seeing that they followed each other on instagram and seeing the photo worried me. I don't want more electronic bad songs like Hello Kitty. But then I remembered that Skrillex was the lead singer of a post-hardcore / emo / rock band before he became a DJ. maybe it can help her in a more rock and non-electronic style .. we'll see what happens.

Yeah this Skrillex thing is not my cup of tea at all. It’s the kind of music I completely loathe, but maybe they’re just hanging out or writing a few songs, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If he was producing her album I’d be very worried lol
However, seeing that he’s background includes him being in a rock band, maybe he’s looking to do something like that with her, who knows.

I looked up his production credits and he also produced a whole Incubus album a few years ago. I think he's more adaptable producing other people instead of doing his own work

She changed her bio picture to the one from Dumb Blonde photo shoot and removed the information about being BMG Records artist. But she’s still on their website.

I really hope her taking BMG out of her bio doesn’t mean she’s parted ways with them already. I mean a lot of artists don’t necessarily mention their label in their bio. Plus she’s only been with them for 3 years at this point and released 1 album, it seems bit soon to quit already.
I think BMG is probably the best place for her right now since their main focus is legacy acts, which is basically what she is at this point.
