Avril Gets Married to Mod Sun in Goth Wedding

Taylor’s lyrics are great but her vocals put me to sleep lol. I wish there could be a combination of Avril and Taylor’s songwriting for her.. it would be awesome.

Meh. Folklore was boring asf. And anything new she releases is probably going to be political or about her boyfriend yawn. It’s literally the same formula every album for Taylor. Has clues, media blows up clues, media makes big deal about clues, media praises her for giving some person a shout out on Twitter or donating some money to something or a fan on social media, Taylor think plays all coy and shy, acts like she’s god’a gift to music because of Jack Antonoff, and then some secret song writer she will confirm much later and then release an album.

Lmao and Taylor just released her new album as I write this. It’s called Everbore. I mean evermore.

Avril switches it up each album at least and isn’t fake asf like Taylor. I used to be a huge Taylor fan but saw through her BS.

Don’t even get me started on how Taylor drops an F bomb or says shit and thinks she’s edgy or more mature now.

He's probably writing songs with her. He's also co-written songs for MGK's last banger of an album, like "bloody valentine". This man can write! I'm so excited about all of this and yes I'm getting my hopes up high and no one can stop me 😝🤘

I’d appreciate her admitting she’s working on the album or not because if she isn’t and we think she is, we will once again say it took her X years to release it xD Perhaps they are there just doing things for fun as she did with Travis or Machine Gun Kelly in the past, to kill the time or to use the creativity . With Avril everything is possible.

Also I think it funny to read all the comments comparing Avril to Taylor. Taylor was already getting big in the US when Avril got two albums out. There’s no such a big difference between the beginnings of their careers. They’ve always been doing things differently - since the day one. In some cases Taylor will never match Avril’s success and in others Avril has no chances of beating Taylor. And a fact Swift is a way bigger in the US instantly makes her a worldwide star and she built around it. Not to mention she’s a queen of PR and she’s very dedicated to her job.

"Pop punk foreverrrrrrrr!" -- she wrote this on her stories reacting to Goldfinger's live concert and I think it was the first time we actually got to hear from Avril herself any sort of involvement with the genre recently? We've been talking about pop-punk's return and how it seemed like Avril might be leaning in that direction, but this was the first time she actually mentioned the genre. Last time she spoke about pop-punk was during Zach Sang's interview and it was beyond awkward as it seemed she had no opinion to give even though she's constantly credited as being an early influence for women within the genre and her most predominant honorific nickname in music has always been (& continues to be) "pop-punk queen".

It gets me excited seeing Avril surrounded by artists who have strong and real instrumentation on their music and a bit of a heavier sound. But we all know by the time the record sees the light of day she will have changed it to reggaeton-country-hiphop-folk or something completely random and different.

Yeah and let’s be honest. Avril’s last few albums have been subpar at best. Anyone who thinks Taylor’s music all sounds the same clearly hasn’t listened to the records in full. I don’t think we should compare them either, but if we’re being honest the quality of Avrils music has only declined for the most part in these recent years.
