AL7 Album Speculations Thread

I’m actually glad to hear that she probably said “riding”, because she already said she had been “writing” since April, so I would expect her to be in the production stage already, writing some songs to add here and there.

Saying she’s been 2 weeks in the studio non stop, plus John saying he’s been producing songs for her album, kind of confirms she hasn’t JUST been recording the ModSun collab right? I mean, 2 weeks is too much to record a collab, it usually takes a day to record the featured artist...

It never left ame. I blame all these yes people. Her friends got the necklace. And the cake bike people put it on the bike (I think she told them too tho). Modsun in the comments too.

I think modsun is gonna be a writer on AL7. My theory is that she got excited and asked both Feldman and Modsun to do stuff for her album or she already had something and they fit in. I just find it hard to believe that her label or Avril asked Feldman to work with her. Or that her label is all like yeah work with modsun on your new album. That's why I'm afraid her label is gonna step in and say go back and work with xyz. But the good thing is that she seems to be very hands on like she was for TBDT.

They're doing a great job hyping up the fans. Just hope this time things are well planned in advance. Seems like she's having a lot of fun doing this album and is super excited do share details about it

I feel like as fans we have no option at this point but to come with terms with the whole MFP business. It's definitely one of Avril's trademarks that she uses to symbolize being a little more fun, rebellious and spontaneous. In theory there is nothing wrong with that. The reason why we tend to have an instinctive negative reaction to that expression is the fact that Avril has gotten us used to bringing out the MFP in her at her brattiest and most childish -- and while that shtick worked well for her during TBDT when she was in her early 20s, it felt very forced and inauthentic when she brought it back with the AL era and ended up inadvertently symbolizing a big decline in her career.

I just hope the next era isn't an exact copy of TBDT with the MFP image, the black & pink everywhere and the predominantly bratty material. We're all excited for a rockier sound from her, but I hope the visuals are a little more interesting and unique, and I specially hope she can produce a fun album that still reflects the 36 year old adult she is with all the life experiences she's had. There is no reason why she should be making songs that seem straight out of a teenager's diary again.

I actually DO believe it's her writing the comments. You can tell when it's her or her team. Lol, it's not like she's so behind technology she doesn't know how to reply to a simple IG comment, it's no rocket science.

I think it's the collaboration of modsun and marshmello, i think she was referring to the word "as fuck" Also, ashley is called ashley frangipane, I guess it will be her signature what do you think?
