i don’t know anything about modsun and as far as I’m concerned a marshmallow is what i put on top of a hot chocolate but the cover is nice and she looks fab, so so far so good Marshmellow is a an electronic music producer and DJ. Idk what songs he's famous for but I've seen him around a lot. His face is never seen because he doesn't want fame so he wears a bucket like a marshmellow and two X's and a smile. He is next to selena in the video below. |

I think the cover looks odd. But not for the reasons you all say. She looks too serious and mod sun is well mod sun. Yes she always looks this way but idk it's too awkward looking. Then he's shirtless with tattoos on display and she has on this big sweater. It's not a bad cover though. Excited to see if it's real or not.

I was having a look at the photographer's instagram and I found this photo with a similar background to the one in Avril and Modsun's collab. I wonder if there's any possibility of the cover on that Chinese site being provisory while they work on finishing it and making it more stylized like this one? Not an exact copy, of course, but perhaps some sort of design or effect to add a bit more character and more of a finished look? I don't mind what the cover looks like either way, just trying to keep the conversation rolling as we wait for the song to drop. All I really care about is that the song slaps. Gosh, I'm really craving a new fun and aggressive tune to kick the year off with high energy -- let 'Flames' be that song, please.  I really hope it is not the final version of the cover. It also lacks the parental advisory logo (modsun always uses it on their covers). They could improve it much more, it is very simple and looks badly edited. But hey, in the end the song is what matters. |

I know not every single cover has to have the names of the artists and the title of the song...BUT that's weird isn't it. She never made a cover without her name and title song right?. Anyways, i'm more concerned about this thing right here? is that a photoshop mistake? why is that gap there? her hair doesn't "finish" if that makes sense xD  I know he's holding his "belt"... BUT it looks like he's holding his parts 🙃 |

Im like a photographer would say that this photographer don't have a lot experience in making covers ahah and all his previous works were good, but mostly I DONT UNDERSTAND why Avril and Mod are not in the centre? Aahah im a perfectionist and if they changed the engle that would look better. It always hard to wark with 2 people when u make portraits, but damn i bet they had better shot pictures in this shoot and why they chose not the best one....and photoshopped so cheap. Artist have to create a look for a shoot, a hairstylists and a designer and they just found random clothes and took a picture like if they have to make it so fat like on documents lol( I thought that ModSun has a really good team and stylish shoots, but when Avril is in da house everything changing in her way But she looks so beautiful here, so i like it) Simply it looks just like a random photo, not a single.Without text and right crop. |

It could be hair but...why is it going horizontally out of nowhere? where the rest of that part is going down, and it's pink abruptly, doesn't seem like hair to me, just a mistake when cropping the subject in photoshop. But who knows. To be fair the picture is not the best quality, i'd rather wait for HQ picture and make judgemts then, it was just something that brought my attention. I also hope it's just a press photo tbh, the cover itself isn't bad but it's not the best either so let's see what happens D: |

Tbh it's not that bad. Although it looks like it is photoshopped together, I think this position can happen easily. Avril & Mod are about the same height, so that may can be the reason why he bended... because he doesn't look so small in this way The only anomaly is the missing hair piece in the back. Attachments:

I think that the song title etc can easily be added to the top left corner, that’s why Avril and MOD are slightly off centre. If it’s true and the song is called Flames it’s only one word and doesn’t need a lot of space. Their names could probably fit nearly under the title.
