I listened MGK songs Bloody Valentine and I think I'm OKAY, and I will be happy if Avril's next Album has instrumentals like that.

The rappers are really starting to go for guitar pop punk songs. It's too bad Covid began before they could start working together. I like pop Avril but I think pop punk Avril didn't get to show her face too much and she was great. |

She never did any of her early styles more than one album and while there were similarities between them I would (and I'm sure most fans would) enjoy another album in any of her early albums' styles.
I hope her and MGK have done some distance writing etc together, whether the songs are on her album or his

I’m honestly expecting her to be working hard on AL7 right now, I’m sure all of this silence means something (it’s been a couple of months since we’ve got anything from her, other than some random short beach stories) I’ve been over the HAW album for quite a long while now. It was a cute album but definitely not her best. She spent too much time working on it and “perfecting” it. She needs to be more spontaneous when it comes to music. You feel it, you write it, record it and release it, bam! It’s how it works these days. Hopefully she’s taken inspiration from Taylor and other artists releasing music impromptu and Pete is helping her to record/produce the songs. I never expect much from her, but I have a feeling this time around she’ll surprise us. And please, don’t let this be a Christmas album cuz  (if she releases that album ok, but girl, give us something else, at least a single from AL7 by the end of the year) |

Totally agree with you on the part of feel the song/album, record it, release it. It always gets delayed and that’s just super weird to me.

Even if it's just an EP, that'd be great. I feel like she should definitely release some new music before going back on tour next year.

She was obviously doing some stuff with writing.
She said she kept writing when HAW sessions were finished and she often goes back to older songs to rework for new projects. She worked with Travis (I think) as well and he talked about hooking her up with Machine Gun Kelly. Plus she's got Pete at home to help with stuff and she was inspired enough to remake WAW and get into the feel of recording etc.
I think she would be bored at home without doing something. I would love her to release something before the end of the year

What are some things you would like to hear on this album? Mine are,
- upbeat songs
- storytelling / creative lyrics for example, petals for armor by Haley Williams
- break up songs > love songs
- bass lined track like tmio, break it so good, or dead horse by Hayley. Williams, circles by post malone. Of course, that doesn't mean I want it all trendy sounding but I like some killer bops.
- flawless production
- pop punk track with MGK and Travis Barker and Travis Clark. Oh and let Travis Barker produce it like he's done with MGK's pop punk tracks.

I would like to hear mostly upbeat songs, but mature. Like a mature version of TBDT. For the subject matter, I want anthemic songs like ABO, Runaway, Freak Out, Bigger Wow. Like "feel good" songs, even if the state of the world is otherwise.
I agree the production should be modernized and sound current. Doesn't mean it has to sound like overproduced or anything, but some of her recent pop songs sound dated because of the production. Break It So Good and Bright are good examples of what she could do.

Definitely this album needs to have mature upbeat songs.
Her songs sound so dated. I'm sorry but they do. The soundtrack to DB. Even Goddess and Souvenir. Break It So Good is the perfect modern example, not the Disney style music she puts out. Even if she is using real and loud instruments I need this album to sound polished. For example, Kacey Musgraves Golden Hour sounds flawless and she used real instruments on the majority of the album.

Upbeat is okay but mature. I definitely don't want TBDT part 2. Like really don't want that. It's my least fave album so no nonesense.
Storytelling is a good one but stories wich people can relate to.
a new sound would be nice, experiment with genres but make it feel like a whole theme!
