At the end of the day we need to keep in mind that this discussion is merely speculative.

Modsun seems like a genuinely good person, but he has a lot of baggage on him. He's publicly admitted to having a recent past with drug abuse and sex addiction. Both Modsun and MGK definitely come from a very different background than Avril. Avril had a completely regular life in a nice little christian suburban household in a small town, whereas the guys come from broken families and were hanging out with tough crowds, doing drugs and being left on their own from a young age. I however believe this is no indicator of them being necessarily good or bad for Avril to hang out with or even have a relationship with if that's what they choose to do (MGK is taken tho -- let's keep him off limits plz lmao).

For now, I'm mostly thankful she got the chance to work with them as they can really teach her a thing or two about being more present and more passionate about her work, as well as more thankful for the people who continuously give her the opportunity to keep doing what she does. We've already seen such clear improvement in her communication with us and for the first time in over a decade the entire fandom seems to be unanimously excited for what's to come, so I'd say so far so good.

Age difference isn’t an issue, it’s the people and what they’re like emotionally and how they react to things. I read about Mod Suns break up and it sounded very messy like Jonny Depp and amber heard. Most of these things involve drugs and alcohol. I was 21 when I met my husband and he was 34, we’ve been together for 10 years next year. If you like someone or love someone age should not be an issue.
