Moriah Rose Pereira, better known as Poppy and formerly That Poppy, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, author, director, and religious leader. In 2014, she rose to prominence by starring in unsettling performance art videos that presented her as an uncanny valley-like android entity who commented on and satirised internet culture and modern society. The videos achieved viral fame. In 2013, she signed a recording contract with Island Records and released Bubblebath, her debut EP.
In 2017, she signed to Mad Decent and released her debut studio album, Poppy.Computer, which consisted primarily of bubblegum pop songs. To promote the album, she embarked on the Poppy.Computer Tour, which consisted of shows in 34 North American cities as well as London and Tokyo. In 2018, she released the surreal comedy online series I'm Poppy on YouTube Premium. She also released her second studio album, Am I a Girl? In stark contrast to her first album, Am I a Girl? began to show a heavy nu metal influence. In 2020, she released her third studio album I Disagree through Sumerian Records, shifting her style even further away from pop to a sound incorporating heavy metal and industrial music. I Disagree featured increasingly disturbing, violent, and macabre visuals in her music videos, continuing a shift in her music videos that had begun with her second album. (Wikipedia)

Well, I'm practically new to Poppy, except of a few singles I've listened before  So, I'm curious which stuff should be my must have to listen to from her discography first of all guys? Thanks  P. S. alloutofmycontrol I can admit that you're a die hard fan of her as well hehe  |

S. alloutofmycontrol I can admit that you're a die hard fan of her as well hehe Well, you're not wrong about that, I do love her If you're into more heavy-metal-rock-hard-rock kinda music (which I'm sure you enjoy) you can start with her newest album "I Disagree". My favorite tracks are: Concrete, I Disagree, BLOODMONEY, Bite Your Teeth, and Sick Of The Sun. Tbh I won't skip any song from this album because everything is just perfect. Her album before that, "Am I A Girl?" is more into pop-modern music but it has 2 heavy tracks (that kinda sound like they would belong in "I Disagree") which are "X" and "Play Destroy". Those two are the only songs I like from Am I A Girl? Honestly I haven't really listened to Am I A Girl? yet.. She also has an EP called "Choke" which has songs that sound like.... Billie Eilish's music? I'm not sure. The tracks have heavy bass and probably industrial? I really am I not sure lol. My favorites are Choke and Voicemail. This EP also has a rock track called "Scary Mask" and it sounds a bit like "X". Overall this is a great EP. Her first album is called Poppy.Computer and it's very.... pop-y (no pun intended). This album is filled with fun pop songs. I feel like the lyrics of this album are references to the modern internet culture/pop culture but I don't really want to get too much into it because I just want to enjoy the music. My favorite tracks: I'm Poppy, Bleach Blonde Baby, Microphone, and My Style. She was once signed to a major record label where she released her first EP Bubblebath. Again, a very pop record. My favorite of this EP is obviously her first single, "Lowlife". What unique about it is it's pop-reggae influenced. I love it. My exposure to her was through wrestling and her performances on NXT. I haven't seen any other performance of her though or music video. I'm listening on Spotify currently.
Loved this epic entrance. Gotta be honest the beginning of Scary Mask isn't my favorite but once this part comes in banger!
I haven't really explored her catalog or life. I Disagree is the reason I looked into her. I know she has a weird persona that's kind of endearing but like VERY weird.
Woah Play Destroy and X. Omg X is my new favorite. Heavier than I Disagree 😳 in case it's not obvious I'm listening to these for. The first time right now lol. Listening to Am I A Girl is nice too. I really prefer the heavier stuff though.
And I also like BLOODMONEY for some time now.

I've actually heard of her for sometime because of the fact that she was viral for making all these weird videos. It's so funny seeing people be like "oh is she a part of the Illuminati?" and trying to analyze literally everything lol. I didn't care much for her back then because it's so obvious to me that all those weird videos are marketing strategy for her music career, and it worked, it's a smart way haha. I heard the song I Disagree because I was listening to a Hayley Williams song on shuffle (probably a few weeks ago) and I Disagree was the song that played after that. I was hooked.
