I really hope it isn’t going to be some prerecorded segment, that would feel so impersonal. But at the same time I guess I can understand if maybe because she’s immunocompromised they took extra precautions by having every guest film their set in advance from separate locations and they’ll just piece it together. Still, I was hoping it was going to be a live show.
Edit: Actually I don’t think it can be prerecorded because she’s supposed to do a virtual meet and greet, Q&A, and sound check before the show. That kind of implies it will be live.

With the sound check, well I have a friend who used to support the foundation quite a lot and she told me how several times, out of nowhere, just a minute or two before the end of the auction somebody started placing bids on items and won the most valuable items or increased the price of the item She began to be very suspicious... She also had several other moments when the people from the foundation lied to her about meet and greets and stuff. I don’t want it to be the case this time, and I really hope it isn’t the case now, but I don’t trust her team. I mean, I do love the show idea and I was so excited when they announced it but now, with the lack of news about it, I am getting more and more skeptical about the whole thing.

I wasn't talking about the setting, just whether or not her segment was recorded in advance. She may very well be doing the show from her home studio or wherever, but I think the show itself is going to be live because of all the stuff happening beforehand. I wouldn't be surprised if someone on her team or friends of hers bid on the items to raise more money if they see the campaign isn't doing well. I'm sure we've all suspected that a while ago, like all of a sudden Live Nation or Chad or someone would just give a huge donation as the campaign was ending. I hope lack of news doesn't mean the show has been canceled, because if that's the case I want my money back.

I meant doing Q&A from your home and later on airing previously recorded show don’t change the importance of the Q&A The case with the foundation wasn’t only to increase the bid but to stop fans from winning

^ stop the fans from winning? Why would they do that? Fans have won before.
Since we're on the topic of her foundation. I find it admirable that she finds a way to use her name and career to raise funds for her foundation. But I also think she should start separating her career and foundation. This era her foundation and career have been too intertwined. I fear someone may get greedy or her crappy team screws up and she could get in trouble. Supposedly the money goes to charity but shit happens. Maybe next time do something just to treat the fans like a free Q&A and chat on Instagram live or better yet on YouTube.

I don’t know if anyone has posted this, but there is a Q&A section on her website that among other things says that there is no estimate of the duration of the concert, “it will depend on the performers” and that it will be streamed directly through her website avrillavigne.com

Things we should have known at this point:
It will be a livestream or a pre-recorded event?
Can we expect that the band will be with her?
This concert will be just like her world tour?
Avril will perform more than an hour?

I’m undecided. I think I would’ve got a ticket straight away if I could watch it live, but i can’t and I find it kinda hard to engage with online shows. Dunno. Maybe. I’ll see how I feel on Saturday.
