The part I don’t get is simple - if Avril releases her own song, Flames can only gain, I mean people always get interested in older tracks when a new one drops. You can really build a nice strategy over 2 tracks. Or even three is he wants to promote something of his solos

I love Flames and both music videos, but the audio track for the acoustic version... Did they actually record a new song or just remove the music from the original version? ModSun's screams and shouts don't fit in this version imo.

ModSun's screams and shouts don't fit in this version imo. It would seem to me that some of their vocals were redone while other parts may have been lifted from the original version. For example, the second line Avril sings in her intro verse sounds definitely different. And the way Mod sings “I’m nothin more than ashes,” the way he sings “ashes” sounds different too. |

I also think his vocals are a bit too aggressive for the acoustic version! I really like the orginal and the music video! Acoustic video is okay, simple setting.

Also he’s really been working with big names like MGK who introduced him more to Paper, Kerrang and other alter mags than Avril Also Big Noose is really doing a great job. Flames is in that Top 20, and it hasn’t really happened to any of Avril’s solo singles for ages. If Avril is really using her contacts to promote Mod, it means she is incapable of using the same contacts to promote her solo stuff. That’s why I don’t believe she’s really involved in anything Mod does. |
