I feel like the black extensions will be for the video only, just like the rainbow ones seemed to only be for the single cover. Maybe she will change out the extensions and use different colors instead of just sticking to only one for the whole era. It might be a nice little throwback to her past eras: black, pink, green.
I really like her outfit for this video, itβs so UMS!
I just hope she keeps up this level of excitement and passion when it comes time to promote her own stuff. I feel like part of her excitement may be influenced by Mod himself since he has so many ideas like interacting with fans and posting these videos. I hope sheβll take what sheβs learned from him and continue on with it. I wonder if once the album is out he might cross promote it since heβs a main collaborator on it.

Love the look! Although her now sharing stylists with others from the group seems to confirm we might perhaps get a bit of sameyness down the line? Hope they manage to keep her looking distinct from the others.

MOD SUN's friend Brennan, who was on set yesterday just went live on his insta and I've asked him if he knows when the MV will be released. He said probably next week, but we shouldn't quote him on that.

Next week is a pretty quick turnaround for a video. Maybe he meant at the end of the month. I think he really meant next week and it's not unrealistic, because after shooting the MV for "Bones" it took them about a week and a half to release it and it would've been a week, but MOD SUN wanted to reshoot/add a scene, that's why it came out a few days later. We'll see, I hope it'll be next week π€ This sure is a team of hardworking and driven people, maybe they'll continue to work with Avril for AL7. |

Random Daily Thoughts:
About timing and fast-working, is it probably the fastest song "Avril" released? I believe they recorded it in November if not Early December, considering the shoot was in December. And out first week of January, wow.
If she were so fast she could release AL7 around Summer for real ! Which I hope.. all her summer - releases were big hit albums. Al the Winter-releases didn't go well. But yes, I know it's not about the season.
Another random thought, if AL7 is out this year, it would follow Let Go-UMS and GL-AL timing of 2 years since previous album (2002-2004 / 2011-2013)

Let Go was released in June. Though I guess summer doesn't technically start until June 21st, so yes, technically she's never released an album in summer.

I like those new videos of the music video. She looks good in them, I like the style. But also I feel like she is much more... happy? excited? in them.
I don't know if it's just the new project or new upbeat personalities around her, but she seems happier than I perceived her in quite a while. I like that.

Modsun gained 40k followers on tik tok since his video with Avril. The way flames is helping him. And this is easily avril's collab/side project that it's doing the best
