After having to wait a year for an announcement of a new album, fans are ecstatic to finally rejoice in a new Avril Lavigne album coming in 2021. Not even Avril's Lyme disease could stop her from continuing her music career, which had fans extremely concerned ever since she announced it.
As fans have to continue to wait a bit longer for the seventh album, they at least got some hints from Avril herself. She answered fans' questions and they never felt excited for Avril's new project. https://www.instagram.com/p/CLU6jXzlSff Avril got to confirm and disconfirm what kind of songs will be on the album. With how far technology and social media has come, it has been much easier to get in touch with artists. Of course, they are mostly busy with their work, but when they do reply, it is always a euphoric feeling to experience.
As @avrilsverige asked regarding ballads in the new album, Avril replied with what seems to be a high likely no. Avril's ballads are one of her standout songs, but it's good to step away from something that she is known for.
Meanwhile, @nayshipley._.sheepley_ asked what kind of information Avril is allowed to say at the moment. Avril replied stating that the production is pure rock and roll with intense sounds of the guitars and drums. She also confirmed that John Feldman is an incredible producer to work with, and it is reportedly their first time working together.
As time goes on, Avril might answer more questions in the future, giving fans more hype to thrive in.
