Fun fact: Take It apparently ended up on the My Happy Ending single due to a former Bandaids admin's (Victoria, I think) influence during a radio interview or something along those lines. I think there was a snippet floating around and she asked if it was going to be released, or if she could release it on the next single so we could hear the full version. Yes! I'll expand slightly; Avril had mentioned the song a couple of times during the Mall Tour radio promo that she was doing which resulted in all of Bandaids members to yell PLAY "TAKE IT" when she was on stage and also ask Avril about it during Q&A sessions etc. The final tracklist came out and Take It wasn't on it, which was disappointing but Avril somehow communicated to us that it would have its moment, and it did! |

I just thought we should have a thread for her B-sides. I'm surprised we don't already have one. I love listening to her Let Go B-Sides every Sunday morning!

Quick question, is Won't Let You Go a b-side or an extended version of KHO? This is the first time I come across this track and I'm confused.

Won't Let You Go is believed to be the other song she wrote for Eragon. She mentioned writing 2 songs. WLYG has a similar sound and lyrics to KHO, though it wasn't written with the same writers. KHO was written with Dr. Luke and WLYG was written with Diane Warren. But yeah it's believed by fans that WLYG is the other song she wrote for Eragon due to the similarities.

My favorite B-Side ever is Alone I think. But there are others like "I don't give" which give me a lot of nostalgia.
Fun fact: every time I hear I don't give it reminds of me that scene in MY World Dvd where Evan (I think?) shuts down the windows in the train leaving some super kind Japanese fans a bit sad LOL
