Did any of you even listen to Phem?
She‘s not doing Hiphop or Rap..
Also she‘s been with Avril at Billie Eilish‘s birthday party, she was at the Love Sux release show..
They hang around in the same circles, that’s why they chose her.
Also as of now there are no new Tickets for the Berlin show besides overpriced seats kinda like VIP seats. Maybe there‘ll be more Tickets, as it‘s true that the venue is bigger than Columbiahalle, but right now there are no extra standing tickets available.

I seem to remember she chose some opening act for the Canadian shows that was also like a rap/hip hop type act that her fans didn't really seem to like. Am I remembering that correctly? A lot of people just didn't think they suited the vibe of Avril's shows. I wonder how they choose the acts and why they pick acts that don't make sense for her audience. grandson! He has a song with Phem. I don't think she's a rapper/hip hop artist. She's alternative and she looks very rock/punk/emo. No offense to Jagwar Twin but her opening acts this era are people I would have loved to see. Even if not all of them make sense aesthetically. Oh and yes Girlfriemds has songs written by Mod Sun. One of the guys in the band is the owner of Big Noise a long with John Feldmann. It's awkward but fans need to CHILL. Who knows show long this has been planned. They're not going to cancel a tour opening for Avril Lavigne especially in a country they aren't that big in just because their personal BS. This is a business after all. This is why you don't mix business with pelasure. |

What’s the big deal? This is not high school, it’s not like they don’t get to hang/open for Avril just because ModSun is friends with them. Avril is entitled to keep collabing with them and being friends if she wants to. She liked and commented the post Big Noise made about GFs opening for her. Should she not do it because Mod is in that label? That would be ridiculous.

So, I checked out a handful of Phem's songs, and I'm really not sure where Google's result of calling her a hip-hop/rap artist comes from because it's definitely wrong. If I had to describe her style from the few songs I heard, I'd say it's a mixture of mostly pop, electro, some trap, maybe a bit of rock here and there - so overall really diverse. "Alternative Pop" or something is probably the best description. I can actually see her music working really well as an opener for Avril.
Phem also has a song with MGK from 2019 and a collaboration with Travis and Tyler Posey from 2021. Knowing this, it makes perfect sense she was chosen as one of the opening acts.

Thanks y'all above for my opening act question! ^ too lazy to quote. 😂 Girlfriends is a pop punk band signed to Big Noise. They're really good. Perfect for an opener imo. Oh ! I was too lazy to Youtube/Apple Music'ing them, but thanks, i was wondering what they sounded like earlier. Not back at all, although maybe still a little too pop sounding to my tastes. Besides Avril, i'm really leaning towards alternative music more and more each day! I barely listen to pop anymore. (In Yungblud considered pop ?! Mh..) Anyways! Thank you! I wonder how they proceed to discover new bands like that all the time. I think someone replied first, but anyways. Is Grandson whom (?) you're talking about? Because yeah. There was (for the most part of the canadian leg) : Mod Sun, Grandson and All Time Low. Grandson though, was super sweet to fans (like me 😜😂) who were waiting at the barricade outside to see Avril when the show was postponed in Laval. He chit chat with us, took pictures, answered questions. It indeed wasn't my type of music, but he's really down to earth as an artist. (Again, how do we post/pictures videos for our phones on here!!!?? 🙃) Of course, i can only speak for myself !  And as for the other posts thinking that Europe will get a longer/improved setlist due to guests influence or whatever, no. We had three music artists in Laval (read above), and got a setlist that barely made it the the 60 minutes showtime for Av's part. Which is why i don't think that 1, 2 or 3 opening artists will make a difference. It's gonna remain as it is, in my honest opinion. No shorter setlist, not any longer one. Then, again, i'd be surprised if there was any setlist songs changes. Besides removing Flames and messing around with Hello Kitty or any other older song. But i also said that a week ago or so. We'll see! |

People thought she'd cut her setlist because she had more openers haha. To post videos off YouTube just copy+paste the link in your post. To post images: Uncle Bob explained that we have limited space so it's suggested to use a site like Postimages. Upload a photo or gif from your device or from the internet. Then use one of the list of links they provide. I think the one that works on here is the "forum link" But if someone can explain this site better please do. I also have trouble remembering which link to use.

Apparently no opener at the moment ! Girlfriends, according to Avril’s posts, from April 12th till April 26th But checking all GIRLFRIENDS dates from Live Nation website, they're not doing a show in Paris and not even in Padova, so I'm not sure |

I'm not sure about phem, she seems like an artist I would have to listen to a couple of times to get into. I'm seeing phem in London with Avril but honestly I'm not mad, the support acts are not too bad. |

Wonder if it means 2 support acts on 1 night or they will alternate on different nights? I'm the same really, only there for Avril. I watched Simple Plan when they opened and think maybe the Jonas Brothers. Think it was some band called Lawson last time that I wasn't really that bothered about. Oh the simple plan shows were the best. I definitely watched them and jonas brothers (jonas brothers mainly because I was too young to do anything else or interest to pass the time lol). I think i skipped most of Lawson but saw their last song (which I actually still listen to now!). I’ll skip these guys though. Avril was my first ever concert so simple plan are actually the first act I ever saw live. I like them but tbh I wasn’t paying much attention as I was kind of in dreamland thinking I was going to actually see Avril in person. It looks like for the UK shows it will only be Phem as support. |
