What do you mean Let Go with only the documentary? You mean the 13 tracks on the actual album with the documentary? No way.I'm sure she will have many songs on it. Yep. I hope we get more, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just that lol. i adore the LG b-sides - if there’s any way she can add even just a few that’d be amazing. honestly think they’d have made a solid album back in the day. I totally disagree with you here on the fact you think they'll be 13 songs on the original Studio album and the documentary. Its the 20th anniversary man.Like come on.No offense but only a troll would say that.I'm sure she'll add many songs on the album. Two decades is a long time so giving 13 tracks would destroy her career and reputation. There's no way she would do just that.Come on guys,be realistic and lets stay positive. No offense to you or anyone please.

But I also wouldn’t be surprised if it’s original LG + the doc.

But I also wouldn’t be surprised if it’s original LG + the doc. 13 tracks + documentary for a 20 year career is not much.Fans and the general public will be disappointed and Avril Lavigne will get backlash for doing that..My point was that one must be realistic. No offense. But that's my take on it and I guess you have yours.Agree to disagree.I know Avril won't do that though.

If anything, not expecting much is being more realistic than expecting a shit ton of songs. Avril’s “reputation” went to hell a long while ago due to several botched album releases. I don’t think she’ll care if the public likes the album or not. It’s basically a cash grab and a celebration of her career, but nothing more.

The cover is just awful. As for the upscaled Let Go videos... the fanmade ones look way better and natural. Why can't she have a decent team? See, imo, that fan made upscaling is bad. The interpolation to 60fps just looks unnatural and gross to me.

and I personally would like to hear the remaining songs written with Peter Zizzo, these are Don't Mind Me and Love Like a Child. I like what he wrote with Avril: Nobody's Fool, Falling Into History (which served as the name of my account ☺), Stay, Tomorrow You Didn't, Headset, Why. Oh, and I also want to hear the Bonded song Me too, the vocals are gorgeous like a bit jazzy and blue but rock.

Outside of hoping for unreleased songs, I really hope that Avril includes the era's b-sides on the reissue: "I Don't Give", "Get Over It", "Why", and "Falling Down". Third Eye Blind reissued their debut album back in 2017 for the 20th anniversary (funny enough, Avril recently said it's one of her all-time favorite albums!) and it included all of the era's songs except one b-side, "Horror Show". I'm sure it boils down to who owns the rights and everything, but the exclusion made it feel somewhat incomplete for a celebration of the album/era imo.

Oh well, it’s not too bad. Never been a fan of the b-sides anyway haha, and they Included Male-Up, which is by far my fave so I’m happy about it!
Hopefully this will be released on streaming/CD soon with the vinyl coming in January. We should get this first, then Love Sux Deluxe plus vinyl and then the Let Go vinyl release.
UPDATE: Breakaway has been re-recorded for the release! Thank goodness, the demo was dreadful.

I love Why but I can take or leave the others - not my favourite selection from the LG songs but I can see why those were chosen - guess it also depends what she even has permission to release at this point. Nice to get a proper release of at least some of them anyway!
Wonder how the doc will be released? Alongside the re-release would be nice.

Why RE-RECORDING an old song and make it "more actual" if not to make it an official single to promote the edition? 😎 I think a surprise is coming

It's a bit sad that only the more popular b-sides have been included, though it is most likely the best material she had left

I'm overall happy with the selection. Before Avril mentioned the reissue in an interview, I honestly wasn't expecting anything for the 20th anniversary. It'll be great to have a remastered version of the album, official releases for "Make Up" and "Breakaway" in addition to "Get Over It" joining streaming services.
