I saw her live right before covid in December 2019!!!!
The group sitting in front of my mom and I asked us if we thought the Melissa theory was true. It was wild but a very fun time!!!! ššš
One thing Iāve noticed about watching her live vs watching someoneās recording of her concerts is that video will never really be able to capture the amount of energy and hype the audience has when she performs.
Even for songs I didnāt think anyone would really be hyped about like HTNGU. Everyone was singing and dancing along too all the songs and it was just a really fun time!!!

Yeah and the hype...yes.Even when she performed at the Alter Ego 2022 and the Olivia Rodrigo concert in Toronto on Olivia Rodrigo's Sour Tour,everybody was cheering very loudly and passionately.She's still loved to this day. |

Yeah Iāve been to The Bonez Tour, The Best Damn Tour and The Black Star Tour. First two were so fun, Bonez probably my favourite. TBST was ok but tbh I donāt think GL is a very good album and that whole era was a bit underwhelming for me, including the tour.
Then I see her on the Love Sux tour or whatever itās called now next year.

Why wasn't the BlackStar Tour good enough?I loved the concerts during that time. I don't think I've ever had a bad show... It was ok, but just ok. Yes Iāve seen her 3 times, all in London. First time was 2004. That one for me will never be beaten as it was the first. Iāll never forget the moment I first saw her walking onto that stage.
Second one in 2008 was again a great show. Only problem was the arena was so big and I was right at the back so she just looked like a dot on the stage to me.
Third time in 2011 she was late coming on stage and lost her voice cutting the concert short which was a shame but still an amazing night and a good view this time. I was actually wearing my Avril t-shirt that day and was stopped by a group of fans standing outside a hotel. Iām guessing Avril might have been staying there. Could have been my chance to meet her but I didnāt I think due to nerves, Iām a shy person.
Got a ticket for one of the London shows next year if it actually happens. Iād love to meet her this time but donāt know the best way of going about it.

I saw her for the first time in 2014 for the self-titled tour. I went with my dad and my little sister and after the show ended my dad kept complaining how "boring" the show was - which after finding out about Avril's condition during that tour, is understandable -- I have to agree with that. But for some reason that show was the main reason I fell back in love with Avril and her music after ignoring her stuff for years -- before that show, the last time I listened to her was in 2007, I think.
