Ah ok I thought it sounded a little bit funky and the song isn’t Avril’s style at all but there’s parts where it definitely sounds like her voice. Stupid AI makes it so hard to tell what’s real anymore.

i don't mind people trying out AI tools and making these songs if only they clearly stated that they're AI. But so many don't and it's just so boring. Same with website texts, articles, columns. Suddenly everything sounds samey and uninspired. Are we heading towards a more boring future where it's difficult to find anything truly original? Not because real people aren't creative anymore but because they are finding it harder to make a living out of it.
It can never be like the real deal, no matter how well it learns to emulate her voice. Just think about those drunken laughs she left on TBDT tracks. An AI would never come up with something like that. It's just remixing old tricks Avril created with her voice through her genuine creativity.

I just saw this: Not sure whether it's real or not. I'm 50/50 cuz the male singing voice doesnt sound like it fits into the song and the snippet sounds like a fanmade mashup. But usually this YT channel posted credible unreleased snippets, so I'm not sure. That’s 100% fake don’t understand who have time for this people really going crazy with AI apps nowadays.
