The concept is cool but I don’t like all that AI stuff… it’s scary as hell and they make her nose ugly! I mean maybe I sound silly but what if AI becomes so huge we don’t need our heroes anymore? Like real people singing? Our Avril.. Some sound SO real it’s kinda scary. |

I just remembered. I wonder if the documentary is still coming out at the end of this year as initially rumored/reported? I honestly think it’s delayed, maybe due to the strike, but idk if that would affect it honestly. It should have come out around the time of LG 20th, or at least at the end of the tour/end of LS era. Maybe there was stuff in there about Mod they had to cut out? Stuff about AL8 that’s now changed and they’re reworking things? It’s just weird what’s going on with it. Maybe they’ll wait until the next album is done and release them together?

It would be random to release it for a new album. Maybe they will reschedule it for a 25th anniversary....? |

I don’t think they’ve been filming since pre-pandemic. I thought the rumor was they started filming maybe around the time she started the LS album, or perhaps once she hit the promo/tour cycle. We know they filmed the tour and LG anniversary, WOF ceremony, etc. It was rumored to be about her 20th year in music as well as reflecting on her relationships, etc. Documentaries usually film for a few years (Miss Americana was filmed from 2018 to 2019 it looked like, My Mind and Me by Selena Gomez was filmed over several years I think, as examples) so if they started even in 2021 or throughout 2022, surely they’d have enough for a 2023 or 2024 release? Unless they wanted to keep going when she broke up with Mod, maybe they didn’t want to just end it there. Maybe they want to continue filming into AL8 and possible UMS 20th?

They could be timing it with the AL8 release for cross promotion. It'll probably be about her career overall so it doesn't need to be out at a specific time, just whenever they feel it's done
