So the new era will start before/around that time (I hope so) 👀 We said the same thing when the GH Tour was announced Nonetheless, I expect we should have a single by then. I mean it'll be 4 years since Bite Me by then. It's hard to believe it's been that long already, time flies by! Right? 😂 But she did the GH, and now she can't use that card anymore, but let's see. I hate this new type of schedule she's doing, releasing the single around Christmas and the album the year after, but I guess it's possible that this will be the case again. The best would be the first single in the summer and album in fall tho

I was thrilled she announced wwwy.
Has anyone been in years past when she played? In my head I picture it being better than her last tour because it’s not a stadium with seats, and potentially a more lively crowd because of the other bands fans involved. On top of that, I’m sure it’s more exciting to play when you haven’t been grinding out a tour the past few months. If you’ve been, how hard was it to get close to the stage? Any info about actually going is appreciated.
I am definitely going, I love most of the bands on the lineup anyways.

I have a friend in the US who is going to see Avril live at wwwy.
We are all in South America looking forward to Avril. Big fans here. If she comes to Brazil again, she will be an absolute success as always. She knows that.

Went to the eras tour. I had more fun at greatest hits tbh. Taylor is so scripted, merch lines are hours long, people everywhere, and no real fan interaction. Also, simple plan was way more fun than Gracie Abrams. The show was cool but it was realllly long. Maybe I’d feel different about a 3.5 hour Avril show? Probably lol. But overall, eras tour is all social media hype and I wasn’t blown away.

I went to The Eras Tour at Wembley and I had only seen clips of it on social media but every show seems to be completely identical. Taylor moves and talks like a robot, I found it pretty cringe if I'm honest. That being said, I did have a very good time and I am glad I went but it's not quite as good as everybody makes it out to be in my opinion and, yes, it's too long.

I have to completely disagree lol. Avrils GH tour was very good but the Era’s tour is its own beast, they’re not really comparable.
I had a lot of fun at the GH tour and it’s definitely the best I’ve ever seen Avril. The Eras tour was hands down the best show I’ve ever seen full stop. And yeah, every show is nearly identical other than the surprise songs - with a production that big and long you can’t really switch things up much. With all due respect to Avril, the only switching up of things she really does is randomly removing songs from the already short setlist lol.
Will agree re the support though, simple plan are a great support act. We had Paramore for my Taylor show and i thought they were shocking

For me, it just makes her seem really robotic, it's too choreographed, 'ok now i will turn to my right and wave, and now i will turn to my left and wave' etc. I will disagree with you about Paramore though, I thought they were fantastic, Hayley's got a cracking set of lungs.

Maybe you’re a new Swiftie but Taylor’s shows have been choreographed like that since day 1. Every tour, not just Eras. She comes from a theater background which I think heavily influences how her shows are produced. Avril is a “rocker” and has never had heavily scripted or choreographed shows, with the exception of probably TBDT because it was a bigger scale production, and now GH for the same reason. She pretty much always says the same things to the audience, like “how we doing (insert city)? Make some noise!” and talking about Complicated being her first single and dedicating it to her day 1 fans. Every artist more or less does that stuff during their shows. It’d be next to impossible to try to make it super different each time.

I’m not new to going to gigs and concerts or am I new to Taylor Swift as a live performer so of course I know that acts say pretty much the same thing every concert.
Taylor is very robotic. If you’ve been to her concert and then you watch the film of it, you can really see how scripted it is, it’s very sugary sweet. This is fine but all I’m saying is that, for me, it does take something away from the performance. Even Beyoncé on the Renaissance tour went off script and would have interaction with fans.
Of course Avril has a script and says the same things in each city. But I’ve been her enough times to know she can mix it up a bit and she’s way better in making it sound more natural than Taylor is.
