Ive been listening to Kelly's Christmas album and Taylor's. Kelly's first has soem re recordigns and some original songs and i love it. I need one from Avril!!!!

It depends on how the songs are arranged. I'd like to listen to something more in the style of those Rock Christmas playlists on Spotify. For example I love "I won't be home for Christmas" by Blink 182. I think songs in that style would suit her well. But that's just my opinion because I'm bored by the usual Christmas lullaby-style songs.

The idea of her doing a Christmas album is neither here nor there for me. I'm not dying for her to do one to be honest, but if she does, I'll be interested to check it out the same as anything else she releases. But it would depend on a lot of things for me, like is this an album all of original songs, covers, or a mix? Is it going to be like a pop rock/punk version of Christmas songs, traditional, or a mix?
If she's to do a Christmas album, she needs to put her own stamp on it, otherwise it won't stand out amongst the thousands of other Christmas albums that have been released over the years. I really loved her version of Baby It's Cold Outside and her version of What Child is This? was really stunning. If she did a whole record of songs with that level of production and vocal performance, I think I would enjoy it.

Exactly agree with this and I think she could work with Tommee on more songs in that vibe and nice mix with those and some rock vibe Christmas songs (covers and 2,3 originals) can be really enjoyable and even interesting. She said that she love Christmas so I would like to see put her soul in to it |

I can't get through an entire Christmas album besides Kelly's. My only interest in an Avril version is if we get another jazz song out of it.

To be honest, I've never listened to Kelly's Christmas album  And yeah I think it would be cool if it's a mix of covers and some original Avril Christmas songs. Including What Child Is This and Baby It's Cold Outside. |

For me, no, I like Christmas music but I’m not really interested in covers. And I can’t see her doing original songs (at least not more than 1 or 2).
But I’m not against it if she wants to do it/others want it, it’s just not really for me.

Experimenting with different styles and doing projects is a great way to stay creative and passionate so I'm all for her finally getting to do a Christmas album.
As far as style I think a traditional album and a poprock/punk one would both be good but probably not blending the two. A rockier one would probably be better now since it's more her current style (I'd love a pop punk version of Last Christmas) while a traditional one is something she could do at any point

tbh, not really. it also feels like itd be an east skip for everyone whose not interested in that kinda music. nothing wrong with trying new material, or appealing to a different crowd though
