I need her to do a pop-punk Xmas album called “The Best Damn Christmas.” I'D HAVE LOVED THIS IDEA BACK IN 2007-2011. Now, the xmas songs in the classical arrangements sound like the only way to hear something interesting coming from her (in terms of challenging vocals) at this point of her career. |

She was asked in an interview a while ago about doing a Christmas album and she was saying she wanted to. The interviewer was surprised and said something like "with the whole orchestra and everything" and she was like "yeah, absolutely." So maybe when she talks about Christmas albums she's thinking of that very traditional sound. But I still say she needs to do two, one traditional and one fun. Or maybe that should be one for during dinner and one for party time.

A mix would be best. I don't really enjoy traditional Christian songs but I like some Christmassy songs. I especially enjoy the songs that are like christmas adjacent like I've loved Kelly's, Maddie& Tae's, Aly& AJ's, and Sabrina Carpenter's relationship songs. And all the styles they've done. I for sure wouldn't want something that's all rock or Christian sounding, just my personal taste.

Pass, Christmas albums are generally a novelty that nobody will ever listen to outside November/December and I'd prefer a normal album that I would listen to at anytime. Also, I feel like a Christmas album from her would feel extremely out of place.
Perhaps an EP of Christmas songs?
