Avril Lavigne Presents at the iHeartRadio Music AwardsIt's a well known fact that Avril Lavigne has always been a huge fan of the pop punk band Green Day, ever since her high school days (she even included their song "Basketcase" as part of her setlist on her first ever tour). Avril got to make her dreams come true as she announced the band onstage to accept the Landmark Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Her outfit even paid homage to the occasion, as she wore a ripped Green Day T-shirt paired with black pants and boots, opting for a more casual look. Avril exchanged a hug with Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and snapped pics with the band backstage.
