Soon after dropping their collaboration of "Bulletproof," Avril and country star Nate Smith performed the song live at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards, held at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX. Avril and Smith, who took home the award for New Male Artist of the Year, walked the red carpet together, with Avril dressed casually in a System of a Down hoodie and some black bell bottoms. The pair performed their new single "Bulletproof," a new rendition of the track from Smith's EP Through the Smoke that has quickly been climbing the country music charts.
