Ok, sorry, I hijack this thread despite even it notices me to not do this, since I don't think my question is worth a new thread, from the other hand it's about the 'theme' and kind of - feedback. So I have noticed that the "like" button behaves like a switch - once you click it, you do a "like", the next click on it, it switches to "unlike". So, it means, "likes" may be undone and the worst thing - unintenionally (btw maybe someone didn't know this as well, now you got it). I'm not that against this (although I think it's uselles, - what I have liked, I'm not going to unlike, because the reason for liking couldn't change, and exactly that reason only may be considered a real reason to like, not some indirect things (like for example attitude to the poster, which may change with the time)). But its presence wouldn't be uncofortable for me or hurt me. If there would be a good distinguishable markings of each (of 2) states. Wich is not. Because now it is almost not visible whether you liked a post or not. Since all the list of liking users is not shown (obviuosly), you see only first two, you need click the link to make additional popup window appear to see whether you liked it or not. It's exhausting. If I liked many posts in the long time I may forget whether I liked it before or not at some later point. Then somehow I may read the post again, and since it's very probable that I find it funny and worth liking again, I may try to 'like' it again. The bad thing here is that, with such a situation you'll do the opposite thing - you unlike it at all. Thus, what you liked twice (and every even number of times actually), you in fact will "unlike" in the result. Especially dissapointing is what it is going to be the case with the most interesting posts (think why). Guys, have you understood what I typed here? If not, then the short version - I basically am asking to change whether 1) the appearance of the 'liked' button state to more distinctive than now, because now it's not distinguishable ('liked' and 'not liked' states differ so slightly, the 'not liked' button is just somewhat more gray), or 2) turn off the possibility to unlike, thus make the 'likes' irrevertible. make it history-like, not switch-like.

Making the like button appear more drastically different in a clicked state compared to its unclicked state is an easy change. I don't think modifying the site to make the like button disappear after clicking would be a good idea, because then people who click the like button accidentally wouldn't be able to unlike the post that they didn't intentionally like in the first place.
Forcing every member's name who has liked a post to display instead of only showing the first two or three names might be possible.

If this isn't a change in ProBoards v6 the staff will add it The button is slightly lit when clicked however EDIT: I don't want to add everyone's name to be shown however- will make a lot of visual clutter.
