This might be a long shot. For some reason they are pretty low on the totem pole when it comes to popularity in comparison to other shoe gaze bands from the 90s like Ride, Lush, Catherine Wheel, The Sundays and My Bloody Valentine. Their big claim to fame is that they paved the way for Garbage, who borrowed their sound and attitude quite a bit. They are my second favorite musical act after KMFDM.

I know the other bands you name in the thread, but i don't know Curve. Are contemporary of them? Sounds well. Yes. Their first release was an EP in 1991, their first album in '92. They broke up in 2004. Aside from MBV, I personally think they are better than any of the other shoe gaze acts of the period.
